Casa Giovanni da Procida is located in the center of the island Procida, in the village S. Antonio; the bay of Naples, Italy. This B&B is less than 30min walking away from the port and other main sites. The B&B is close to the main bus lines on the island (buses L1,L2, and C1) that connects all villages on the island. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, but slightly worn. Beds are comfortable; the bathroom is modern. The continental breakfast entailed fresh breads and buns from the bakery. One can enjoy their breakfast in a beautiful garden in the shade of lime trees and advocado trees. The building is typical for Procida, with an elevated garden from the road, thick walls and big windows. For an affordable price on an Island where accomodations are spare and relative expensive, Casa Giovanni offers a good location, friendly host nice rooms, and a delicious breakfast for a fair price. We would recomment this B&B when staying on Procida. ps. Bring mosquito repellent when travelling to Procida or Ischia.

Nel cuore di Procida
Simpatica struttura, nel cuore di Procida, in posizione che consente in poco tempo di raggiungere tutte le località più belle dell'isola. Gentile e disponibile il titolare, buona la prima colazione, pulite le camere. Complessivamente una buona scelta, da ripetere.

Lieu très agréable
Nous avons passé 2 jours à la casa de Giovanni pour un séjour des plus agréable. Situation idéale au centre de l'île pour visiter à pied les différents sites. Une navette en mini bus s'arrête aussi à proximité. La chambre était très confortable avec belle terrasse au calme. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire et de sa petite fille. Petit déjeuner copieux servi dans le jardin à l'ombre des citronniers. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr !

B&B à 2 pas de la plus belle plage de Procida
Nous avons passé une nuit à la Casa Giovanni da Procida. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, plutôt bien équipées même si l'ensemble est un peu vieillissant. Les jardins sont magnifiques, très reposants et surtout très agréables pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Celui-ci est servi dans une maison située à 50 mètres des chambres, facilement accessible dans le jardin de la propriété. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais comprend tout ce qu'il faut (thé, café, plusieurs jus de fruit, biscottes, gâteaux, beurre, confiture, etc.). La propriété est située à quelques minutes à pied de la Spiaggia di Chiaia, sûrement la plus belle plage de Procida entourée de falaises et avec vue imprenable sur la marina Corricella. Cette plage de sable est accessible par un long escalier, mais vaut largement ce petit effort. Il y a également un très bon restaurant sur cette plage (La Conchiglia). La Casa Giovanni da Procida est facilement accessible par bus depuis la marina principale où accostent les ferrys. En résumé, c'est un bon spot pour profiter de l'île de Procida car on peut accéder aux différents endroits de l'île à pied ou en bus.

Beautiful and Peaceful Setting
I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The location is great for access to all parts of the island. From the port, upon arrival, just take the L1 bus to San Antonio. The local buses are really easy to use. San Antonio church is right across the street from Casa Giovanni where the bus stop is. It costs 1 euro to ride. The hotel itself was unconventional but very comfortable. All of the rooms open up to the outside patio so there' no lobby or hotel entrance. This made arrival a little confusing, because there seemed to be no office, but I just hung out for a minute and the owner appeared. He is quite nice, speaks several languages, and made me feel very welcomed. There's a breakfast room in a separate building within the complex, and everything was very fresh and delicious. I could have stayed here longer. You have to plan your meals a little bit here because the choice are limited. There's a local supermarket near the church, which has a great selection. As a solo traveler looking for some peace and serenity, this set-up was ideal. One more thing: must like cats.

Schöne Unterkunft
Sehr niedliche und saubere Unterkunft. Es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit, bis auf das Frühstück. Hier gab es nur viel zu süße Vanille-Croissants mit Zucker, und brühcafe... Sonst nichts. aber hier kann man sich in jedem anderen Café auch etwas kaufen. Der Besitzer spricht nur sehr gebrochen Englisch, ist aber ganz nett.

Hôtel charmant en été mais évitez printemps/hiver
Hôtel plein de charme mais uniquement par beau temps ! Lorsqu'il ne fait pas chaud dehors, les chambres (nous avons eu une chambre en bas) sont humides et glaciales. L'été celà doit être totalement différent Petit déjeuner vraiment sommaire, pour ce prix c'est un peu abusé Procida reste une île magnifique à découvrir absolument ! Pas tout près de l'embarcadère, prévoir un taxi (10€ chaque trajet)

Wonderful stay at Casa Giovanni
It was my first trip to Procida, the hotel was easy to get to from the port and is very relaxing. I really enjoyed my stay there and Mr. Giovanni is very kind, even though he doesn't speak fluent English we managed to communicate well. Quick walk to the beach through charming streets. I will go back!

Awesome place to stay!
The location was ideal. It was about half a mile from the drop off of the faery boat (take the L1 €1.10). The b&b was lovely, friendly service, clean, huge room, big bathroom, everything worked, and delicious breakfast! I loved it!!!❤️

Lovely place - perfect location
Lovely room... Better than we had expected for the price. Welcomed by the owner (think his name is basilico) who personally took us in the direction we wanted to go (the beach)!! Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely man. Lovely place. Everything is easy to get to. Book it!

Grazioso hotel immerso nel verde.
Abbiamo soggiornato due giorni presso la struttura, trovando grande gentilezza e disponibilità da parte del Sig. Basilio. La camera rispecchia un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, unico neo, è che la struttura, nel suo complesso è un pò trascurata, quando si intravedono delle ottime potenzialità! ( Il patio davanti alla camera, il limoneto, il giordino moto grande, e tanto verde). Noi ci ritorneremo! Frà e Giò

Beautiful privacy set in a relaxing orchard
Immaculate mezzanine rooms set among a huge orchard. Beautiful tiled bathrooms. Never was a fan of cornetto until I cam here. I would return just for the fresh (hot) cornetto I had for breakfast. Gives french croissants a run for their money.

We loved it & hope to go back
Casa Giovanni di Procida is right in the middle of the island, so within walking distance of either of the lovely harbours (or there is a bus every 20 minutes). Breakfast (freshly squeezed orange juice & freshly baked croissants, etc) is served in dining room with amazing old painted ceiling. We stayed in one of the new rooms, separate from the main house (which has been in the family for generations), with all mod-cons and great view of orange trees; overgrown grounds & sea in background. The corner room, which has its own terrace, would be even nicer. In warmer weather, it would be lovely to sit out in the garden. Marco made us feel very welcome.
