We were very happy with our accomodation for our first stay in Daylesford. My first impression was that it was very clean and had nice decor. It is in a central location, only a few minutes in each direction and you are in the centre of Daylesford or Hepburn Springs. I like that it is a self sufficent apartment, we could bring our own food and drinks and the kitchenette had all the appliances we needed (microwave, toaster, kettle and such). The bed was comfy and the bathroom had a spa (which is a must for me) but we struggled to get 2 people in due to the awkward shape/size.
There are only 2 points of criticism:
1- The front glass doors that face the main road are the only 'windows' in the room. So if you don't want the street looking into your room and close the curtains for privacy, you have no natural light or air flow through the room. The room can seem quite dark.
2 - We were in a downstairs apartment. Lucky for us I don't think there were many other visitors at the time, however whomever was in the upstairs apartment, we could hear constant 'stomping' around. So if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and romantic, this many not be the place for you.
Overall we were very happy :)
