I needed a late check-in and the hotel had provided me with a code and left a key for me, which made things very straightforward. The hotel is not in the nicest area so I was glad to get inside having walked there from the hospital. The entrance hall was in reasonable condition but did smell of damp dogs, although this didn't carry to upper floors.
My room was on the top floor. The ceiling height was very low which would be a problem for a taller traveller. The room was compact but had more amenities than I expected for the price- a mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities and a small TV. The window could be opened and the heating adjusted too which is good. The room was acceptably clean.
Most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable with decent quality bedding and a variety of pillows. It was quiet the night I stayed, although the walls are thin. I slept really well and would probably stay again for the price.
