The floors in the common areas were shiny and beautiful. The furniture and doors were beat up and ripped. The bathroom was old with whiskers in the cracked sink. The soap stunk and was useless. Couldn't use it. The baseboards and the board into the bathroom was filthy and almost unfinished at this point in it's life. No carpet on floor of room. It is not a cabin. The lobby and room smelled bad. Not pleasent at all. That is problem #1. You use Expedia. I will Never again try to get a room through them. The first time I put the date in wrong. I went right back in and cancelled and changed the date. 10:26 pm. The room was going to be around $107 for the night. When I changed the date, they said the system was down and I would have to call back at 12:28 am to see if they could change it. They had told me the room was now $167. Well, I missed them at 12:28. Now what? I assumed I at least had the $167 reservation. I got ther 2 days later with NO reservation at all. Neither date. I asked for a room and got one for $106. Now, where did that $167 fee come from. Sounds like a SCAM to me. I told the desk clerk about it. He said that was all Expedia!
Breakfast was the worst I have had at a hotel.
Thanks for the Hallmark channel.
