Customer service was great bed spread had burn holes in it pillows were flat as the sheets carpet in room has stains all over them seen roaches coming out from the mirror and some in the bathroom.in the pool area was an ice machine and soda machine ice machine did not work and sodas 2.50 each

More parking spaces around the motel would be nice. The "emergency number" is a voice-mail that's not regularly checked. Carpet definitely could use replacing. Staff is friendly. Location is quiet, nice rural town.

Not the best
The pool was out of service the last 2 days of our stay. The internet was absolutely terrible and never worked. The beds were too small, they only have us 2 pillows on each bed. I had to go buy pillows. The curtain didnt shut all the way. I had to tie them shut with a hair tie.

Not awful, not great…
It’s an older motel, the room seemed clean, just older furniture that has been used. The only issue I had was with roaches. There are families living in the rooms connected to mine, and when the exterminator came for a “few select” rooms, I guess the bugs weren’t happy and came to visit in my room. Was a bit perturbed by this, and upon leaving everything went into a garbage bag and tightly sealed. When I arrived home I shook out everything, washed everything, but never did see a roach. Other than that, I felt safe in the area, and the housekeepers were very pleasant. Not sure I’d stay again, probably pay a bit more and stay in Rehoboth to be closer to things.

The smoke free room smell like an ash try. Thin pillows. No chair in the room to sit at. TV reception was very poor. Paper thin walls. The coffee maker did not work. There was no creamer or sugar for the coffee if you could make coffee

Too high priced. Nice pool. Nearby fast food. They could provide a light breakfast for the price we paid per room. The coffee was low quality, could not tell it was coffee.

Nice stay
They left us check in early which was great. The room initially smelled musty when we walked in but after we were in the room we think it was the abundance of the cleaning agents. The room was very clean. Staff were very friendly. I only had one complaint, which was, we were in a non-smoking room but the rooms on either side were smoking and the tenants would sit outside to smoke so we were greeted with the smoke whenever we would come and go. And after 10pm there were people outside talking and we could hear their conversation while trying to go to sleep.

Good stay in Long Neck
The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. They are a small motel who tries very hard to make your experience a good one and they did a very good job.

Good place, good price
No frills, but we had all basic and some extra amenities, at a very good price. Very clean and clean-smelling. Pet fee was reasonable too. Would definitely stay there again.

Last chance, should've known better!
We booked a room online and when we arrived no one was there in office! Note on door that said, "call in case of emergency"! We called n texted several times...no response! We were w/I transportation and had to sleep outside! When we finally got a room after 8a.m, the floor was wet n our feet turned black. The comforter was VERY dirty, we asked to switch rooms but request was denied!!!

Cockroach issue in motel *saw two cockroaches*
I have very basic expectations which are even lower than most travelers. I just need a clean room, no insects and in a safe area. The check in process was good but when I walked into my room, I saw a cockroach. Then I turned the light on in the bathroom and saw another cockroach on the edge of the ceiling. I did not stay here. This is only the 2nd time in more than 30 years of traveling where things were so bad that I walked away. The other reviews about cockroaches were genuine. The owner really needs to take care of the cockroach issue before renting out more rooms. If you stay here, I recommend you keep your lights on.

Lots of families/extended stay people there. Saw a person with a clipboard and a state (DE) badge checking in on some people like it was a parole check in…. Dead roach in the bathtub. Staff was friendly. Just don’t expect much. They charge your booking up front, so if you have an emergency and need to check out early, they will not refund. I felt safe, but wouldn’t recommend.

Yes you are right. There are a few famillies that live here. Do to covid they lost there homes and home burn outs some people are not as fortant as others.
