really charming Euro style old school inn. nice bfast, comfy bed, great view from roof area and beautiful back garden to enjoy breakfast. very clean. great value compared to hotel chains. easy private garage across street. would def stay again. real history and fewer of these independent b and b left.

This is one of those tall narrow Victorian hotels. Everything is decorated lavishly with Victorian decor and antiques. I had a charming room, complete with embroidered bath robes. Rooms had a small fridge, TV, and two bottles of water. Some of the walls were cracked or had peeling wallpaper, but that didn’t bother me. Very clean. There is a lovely free breakfast: fruit, meats, cheeses, and quiche. Don’t miss it! The only down side is the abundance of stairs and no elevator. But there was always a staff member who helped me with my suitcase. They have a small parking garage across the street. This is not suitable for wide cars. I have a Camry and I still had to push my side view mirrors in soi could squeeze through the entrance. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Evelyn.

First, the property is exactly like the late 1800's , simply beautiful. It takes you back in time. The beautiful 360 rooftop view of the city is super wonderful. The welcoming and pleasant greeting when you walk in the front door. Its like being in a Hallmark movie. The garden area is so adorable and they have a wonderful hot tub. The rooms are much larger than expected. This is a must have experienced if you are coming to San Francisco.

This is a great option (and the only one I know of) in the mission district of San Francisco. I have stayed here several times. It is a lovely old Victorian House with many antiques. Each room is a little different, with a small but useable bathroom. The breakfast is delicious with lots of options. The parlor, living room, patio and roof deck are all nice places to relax. I highly recommend this B&B.

Beautiful place to stay, you feel like you go back in time and get to experience the late 1800’s. Quaint rooms, friendly staff, stunning common rooms, and soothing soaking tub. I also enjoyed the outdoor spaces and roof top terrace! I can’t wait to book another stay here!

This is a very cute Victorian Bed and Breakfast in the City. It is on a relatively quiet street and has a roof deck and a back patio. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. I will definitely return.

Lovely stay
Amazing service in a charming Victorian inn. Friendly and cozy atmosphere. Lovely garden and roof deck. Great spa tub for two in my room. The only minus was that my room was a little chilly. Overall highly recommended.

Bcp de charme, excellent petit déjeuner, bien placé. Mention spéciale pour le toit terrasse sur lequel il a été si agréable de prendre le café. La chambre que nous avions était petite et le lit aussi mais ça reste une très bonne expérience

Best Ever
This is my favorite place I have ever stayed. Lovely staff, lovely stay. Breakfast is buffet style and offered throughout the morning. There is A lot of history and Marty was a complete gem. I can’t wait to come back for the roof top view!

Amazing old charm hotel
Amazing hotel with antique furniture and beautiful history. Our stay was great! The beds were comfortable, rooms were a good size and had all the amenities. Breakfast was amazing set in a beautiful parlor. Definitely recommend. It was like staying at the museum.

Although it's NOT guaranteed, I showed up early and Marty helped me out by providing a room early so I could handle a conference call for work. The property is a true Victorian house, one of the few mansions to survive the fire a century ago. The view from the roof deck is superb and the back garden lovely. This isn't a hotel, it's a true B&B and you have come with the idea you're staying in your exceptionally cool uncles' special home in the city. If you like big old houses and tons of character with a deep personal touch you will love the Inn. It's my new go-to spot when doing business in the Mission.

Charming historic Inn in the mission area with nearby Bart station. Staff is friendly and the owner was at the hotel when I stopped by and greeted me as well. Good breakfast. Will stay again!

Classic SF Stay
Nice stay in a classic SF home on Van Ness. Beautiful architecture and lovely breakfast. Also very friendly. There are steps to get in and no elevator which my be difficult for some. We liked staying amongst all the history on the walls and within the building.

Beautiful piece of history
What a wonderful gem of a place! Warm and welcoming hosts, delicious breakfast, the views from the rooftop deck are breathtaking. The Inn is a true piece of SF history and is beautifully maintained but naturally does show her age a bit…windows a bit drafty, but the cozy, well-appointed bed makes it a non-issue. Pillows a bit flat, but didn’t interfere with getting good sleep. This was a quick business trip, but hope I can return soon for a longer stay.

Authentic Victorian. Superior breakfast buffet.
Lots of stairs. We had room with 3 beds. Only double bed comfortable. Other beds dipped and were not comfortable. Morning buffet superior. Location seemed fine. We ubered everywhere. Interesting venue. Authentic Victorian.

Nice boutique little hotel with very friendly staff. The place can be better with little improvements/renovations. For example, the wifi at the top floor did not work intermittenly at times. Breakfast options can also be improved with rotated menu of options.

20代女性、40番のお部屋に止まりました。 アンティーク家具のツーベッドルームとリビングのお部屋で、とても広々使えて良かったです。部屋には冷蔵庫と電子レンジがあり、便利です。ドローイングルームにいけばいつでもコーヒーやホットココアなどいただけます。お庭がとてもきれいで、色々な花が咲いていてリスや小鳥がいるので、早めの朝食を庭で食べるだけでも楽しかったです。 とても満足しました。また機会があったら利用したいです。 英語が日常会話程度できてなおかつ旅慣れてる方のほうが楽しめそうです。チェックイン時にオーナーがホテルの歴史を教えてくれたのが楽しかったです。市内に出るためにmuniやbartの駅に行くとちらほらホームレスが屯している場所があったりします。特にトラブルには会いませんでしたが治安はあまり良くないです。夜に出歩くのはやめたほうが良さそう。 Wonderful Hotel, I hope I will have another chance to stay here again.

Parfait pour visiter San Francisco
Un superbe établissement. Très bien placé mais surtout parfaitement décoré : on plonge dans un style raffiné du XIXeme siècle avec le confort d’aujourd’hui. Accueil très sympa et petit déjeuner succulent.
