Unfortunately there was a hockey tournament that weekend. Kids were running the hallway up and down. We called the stuff but nothing seems to happen. Otherwise it was ok

Such an amazing stay at Lakeview. We checked in late & Trevor was kind enough to let us stay a little longer at check out. Excellently maintained Pool area and Seagulls [dining] is very kid friendly and priced reasonably too!!!! Definitely coming back to make many more memories.

Could use an upgrade, renovations etc. Bit dated, needs painting. An unpleasant odour in the front lobby, my husband and I both noticed it. Vending machines are old and only accept monies, rather than debit or cc and were also out completely of water bottles. Just ok tbh.

Front desk person that we saw gave off the 'best girl' vibes ... so we knew right away that our stay was gonna go great ! We like how it was quiet and ... surprisingly ... the bed was even more comfortable than the ones at home haha Definitely worth coming back to again (especially if there's expected nights when aurora borealis might be visible)

It’s an older property and has limited AC plugs in room for charging (cell, hearing aides). Had to go down a floor to heat up snack in microwave ,,, staff were helpful in letting me into bathroom nearby to get paper towels to cover my food so it didn’t explode in microwave. Plus I got locked out of my room and young man at front desk was most friendly and got me a spare key promptly. Hot tub out of order and pool was cool so I tried the sauna but could figure out how to step it up,,, it was warm but didn’t heat up enough that I jumped in pool. Fitness centre was good and I used one of the treadmills watched tv - yet again different remotes and I didn’t have my glasses to figure out or change channel. I was glad the tv had some channels but I watched Netflix on my device mostly. I had the channel guide but couldn’t find what was playing. Took me awhile to find outside plug for car I could use and it was around the bldg - kind of inconvenient being -27 plus windchill factor, Checkin out was more pleasant than arrival. Seagulls was nice and love the view around the marina. Oh! Easiest temp control/ thermostat in room I’ve ever had….

Thabk you for a wonderful mini vacation. I canbonly comment on 2 things; 1) the bathroom sink needs to be snaked as eas slow to drain; 2) the conditioner bottle in shower was empty when we arrived (we brought our own anyway) just thought i would mention this in case someone doesnt bring their own. All in all was a relaxing couple of nights.

I liked that it near the lake. I didn't like that the breakfast was not included and property is very dated. unhelpful staff.

I gave notice that I would be arriving late at night. Room was freezing and I didn't find heat control until the next day. Water for shower for all three nights was cold, television constant glitches making watching hockey impossible. And, no room service, no service at all, not even a hello over the three day stay. Would not recommend.

It’s our 2nd time checking in this hotel. We got a pet friendly room. Sink and bathtub drainage is broken. Need to phone maintenance to fix it. We’re expecting a full tissue roll in the washroom but we had a half empty roll. AC is not cool enough. Good thing it’s a nice cool weather when we got there. Cabinet drawer under the TV stand is not closing very well. Lots of improvements to work in that room.

Wanted to upgrade room to a lakeview but told only when booking with the hotel itself could i do that. Offered to pay more but was denied. Almost no one at hotel so i guess they have weird rules or they just dont like it when you book onlinebor with expedia. Very puzzled

The hotel rooms could have been better looking inside. They were so outdated the rooms and don’t clean the rooms unless you stay longer periods of time. Parking in the back isn’t very big especially if u have a bigger vehicle. The outside of the hotel is nice and the shopping is good.
