소렌토중심가와 좀 거리가 있지만 그것보다는 바다와 소렌토, 멀리 나폴리와 폼페이까지 볼수 있는 정경은 더할나위 없다. 그 풍경하나만으로 충분한 힐링이 되었다. 더군다나 수녀원에서 운영하시기에 청결은 말할필요도 없고 소성당도 있으며 뒤뜰의 산책로에는 애기 놀이터와 기도를 겸한 산책로까지 있다. 수건은 매일 갈아주었으며 아침 조식도 최고였다. 다양한 빵과 커피, 과일까지 입짧은 내가 포만감을 느낄 정도로 먹었다. 가족뿐만아니라 혼자만의 시간이 필요한 사람까지 모두가 만족할 시설과 풍경을 가진 여기에 수녀님들의 친절은 덤이다.

차량으로여행하시는분은추천드려요 찾아가실땐 구글말고 내비켜고가세요 비탈길이고 좁은골목길로올라가야해서 조금여려울수있습니다 하지만 정말좋은수녀님들과 말로다표현할수없는아름다운경치는 하루만예약한걸후회하게만들었죠 1인당20유로에 이탈리아식 코스요리를 와인한병과함께 맛볼수있습니다 저녁식사 신청시 색다른경험이었습니다

목가적이며 편안한 숙소
수녀님들이 운영하는 호텔이라서 전체적으로 조용하고 차분한 호텔입니다. 호텔이라고 보다는 종교적인 분위기에서 휴양한다는 느낌으로 예약하시면 좋습니다. 굉장히 친절하고 자연친화적인 호텔과 테라스에서 보는 바다는 정말 환상적입니다. 욕실에는 샴푸/샤워젤 등이 없으니 챙겨가야 하며, 소렌토로의 이동은 SITA 버스(1.2유로)를 이용할 수 있습니다. 룸이 10개정도로 작은 숙소로 조용하며 전체적으로 호텔보다는 종교적 색채가 강한 숙소로 가격이 저렴하여 향후 소렌토를 방문한다면 다시 예약하고 싶은 곳입니다.

Healing Place in Sorrento
Our family (3 adults and 3 childeren) stayed one night here. Here is not a hotel, but it's a convent remodeled. If you expect good facilated service, I recommend other good hotel. However, we could enjoy good healing here. We could take a walk orange and lemon trees, we could enjoy good view of Sorrento. Especially, the breakfast (cold meal) was very nicely presented.

우선 수녀님들이 운영하시는 곳이라 매우~조용해요 바로 옆에 성당도 붙어있음. 수녀님들이 매우 친절해서 황송함.. 호텔 시설은 진짜 고급지고 제일 이뻤습니다. ㅜㅜ 창밖을 열면 바로 보이는 바다와 건물들 근데 시내랑 좀 멀어요. 걸어서 삼십분인데 매우 경사집니다. 그외에는 공짜로 주는 아침도 맛있고 전체적으로 만족스러워요 되게 고요한 느낌~! 혼자 여행이나 가족여행으로 가면 정말 좋을거 같아요! 아 그리고 15유로 내면 수녀님이 직접 요리해주시는데 그게 진짜 꿀맛....... 파스타랑 치킨 감튀에 와인까지 근데 단돈15유로 진짜 배빵빵해져요 ㅋㅋㅋ한번 드셔보시는거 진짜 추천할게용

Nice relaxing area with tons of parking, great views. Staff is very nice and helpful. 30 minute walk into Sorrento *I always walked down, which they got a neat walkway down the mountain,* but walking back up is another story, recommend the bus that says *Priora* for that. All in all it was a great stay.

It was not comfortable AT ALL! Beds are hard pillows worse ! Nuns are lovely hosts but area has nothing to offer. No transportation or ability to walk. 1 restaurant and pizza which you can not walk to. Very uncomfortable

Hi Gail, We are sorry that you had problems with our pillows, but if you had warned us we would certainly have been able to do something to help you, as well as to move. We have clearly specified on all the portals that our house is located in a hilly area and not in the city center to ensure that our guests are not unprepared and we are always available to facilitate our guests as much as possible.

Hotel tranquilo. Pontos positivos: as freiras são muito atenciosas; a rua dá em frente a um ponto de ônibus e as freiras vendem ticket do ônibus direto no hotel; quarto bem arrumado com ótima manutenção (ar consicionado, chuveiro e arrumação excelentes) Pontos negativos: muito longe do centro (necessita de ônibus ou carro para tudo), sem frigobar no quarto para guardar água, o café da manhã deixou a desejar (era tudo industrializado) Conclusão: atendeu bem, recomendo.

The staff was very nice and could communicate well. The buses that go to this area however are not very reliable. Ended up paying for very expensive taxi’s multiple times (we were not the only ones). This however was not the hotels fault.

Oasi Madre property was welcoming and calming. It allowed for much needed peaceful rest after touring the country. The sisters allowed my kids to feel at home with the properties farm animals and litter playground. We felt safe in allowing our kids to move around trhe property without us. The local restaurant provided pickup and return services. great stay

Good VFM but a car is essential if you stay here
This is a working convent which lets rooms to tourists and visitors. The convent is the home of a small community of Roman Catholic nuns who keep the premises immaculately clean. The rooms are clean but furnished in a rather austere style though comfortable and with private bathroom facilities. The reception of visitors is good and response to problems effective. The convent is in a spectacular position with great views of the bay of Naples but it is a considerable distance from Sorrento. It is 15 minutes drive from the centre of Sorrento and at the top of a very very steep hill (hence the spectacular views) accessed along a long and winding road with no pedestrian walkway. Although there is a bus service it is a little unreliable. A car is essential. The price reflects the nature of the accommodation and its distance from Sorrento itself but as such provides good value for money.

Agree with the others, how clean place is, beautiful views from the terrace and grounds. Having a parking was convenient for us,only 15 min drive to Sorrento and parked there at parking structure for $2 in hour .Street leading to hotel from the main street is very steep and narrow

Never stay here if you want to be in Sorrento
This place isn’t anywhere near Sorrento. It’s 3 miles to the ferry to Capri and 2.5 miles to the bus/train station - and the last mile is STRAIGHT UP. Completely false and misleading to say it’s in Sorrento. And it’s not a bed and breakfast, it’s a convent. There is no front desk and there is never anyone around if you have a question or issue. The “breakfast” they serve is day old bread, warm milk with stale cereal, expired yogurt and whatever else was left over from the sisters’ dinner the night before. You can only get limited WiFi if you go out on the balcony and it’s sketchy there too BC I kept getting dropped. These people smile and nod a lot, but they shouldn’t be on HOTELS.COM, bc they aren’t a hotel, a bed and breakfast or anything even close to either one.

Bella struttura con parcheggio interno. Posizione collinare circa km.2 dal centro con bella vista mare. Gestione da parte di suore gentili e disponibili x infornazioni che al momento del check- in rilasciano chiave x camera e cancello park alfine di poter tranquillamente gestirsi come orario come una normale struttura alberghiera.

Secluded Retreat
This is a getaway/retreat in the true sense, at the very top of the high mountain, far from the city center away from the tourists and maddening crowd. There’s no cellphone network there but WiFi is available that only works in the corridor area and not within the room. View from the terrace is great and the home is beautiful. This bed and breakfast place is run by nuns, who are very warm, cordial and helpful. You can preorder dinner a day before or the nun can call a restaurant few mins away that has known them for many years. Someone from the restaurant comes to pick up and drop off customers from this retreat as you can imagine, this isn’t a crowded place with taxis :) P.S. no towels or toiletries were provided besides hand soap. There wasn’t a TV or telephone either. Which is why I said, it’s a vacation place for those that want to be disconnected from their regular lives for a few days. Don’t worry, WiFi calls work though.
