It's my first trip to Bangkok because of an academic conference. The host hotel was too pricey to stay during the conference, so I selected P&R Residence near the host hotel - 1-2 minutes away by walk. It's pretty satisfying to having stayed at P&R Residence. My room was spacious, all the furniture in the room seemed classy, and all the hotel staff members were professional and nice. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers who want to enjoy themselves in a safe, comfortable, and quiet neighborhood in Bangkok rather than in the crowded city center.

가성비 좋은 방콕 중심지 숙소
가격 대비 숙소 청결도와 타이 현지식 조식 또한 마음에 들었음. 항공편 관계로 새벽에 방콕에 도착하여 다른지역으로 이동할 시 저렴한 가격에 1박할 수있는 곳임

교통과 호텔 직원들의 친절함은 최고! 하지만 쳥결하지는 않음
수상버스를 타고 이동을 많이 하시는 분들에게 교통 여건은 최고에요. 카오산이나 왓아룬 등 관광지를 편리하게 이용할 수 있어요. 시프라야 부두가 바로 옆에 있고, 사판 탁신 역이 가까워서 지상철 이용도 편리합니다. 하지만 청결 상태나 그닥.... 아침 식사를 100바트에 할 수 있는데, 음식도 그렇고, 청결도 좀 그래서 한번도 이용하지 않았어요. 호텔 직원들은 아주 친절해요. 딱 가격 만큼의 값어치를 하는 듯합니다. 이번에는 여행의 예산 안에서는 좋았지만, 성수기에도 여전히 덥고 습한 방콕의 날씨를 생각하면 다음 번에는 좀더 좋은 호텔에 머물고 싶다는 생각이...

저렴한 가격에 비해 아주 좋았습니다 직원은 매우 친절했고 리버시티가 아주 가까워 편리했어요 씨프라야 선착장에서 가까워 좋았구요 택시 기사들이 이 호텔을 잘 모른다 하면 쉐라톤 오키드 호텔로 가자고 하면 바로 근처라 찾기 쉬울듯힙니다^^

Stay with Chao Praya in Bangkok?
My wife and I selected P&R Residence since it was located next to a big international chain hotel. We thought the chain hotel can be a landmark for us to tell to a taxi driver to take us to. We were right! We flagged a taxi at Bangkok Airport and asked the driver to take us to the chain hotel and the driver understood our destination in one sentence. Even though that was our prime reason of selection, we found P&R Residence was well located on the next day. The hotel is just next to the Si Praya ferry terminal where you can ride ferry boats both to cross the river and along the river. It was our second visit to BKK and my wife and I decided to dedicate this trip to visits to venues close to the river. We enjoyed the river thanks to the hotel's good location.

I found the location was too remote for me, I prefer shopping districts and restaurant areas. The river ferry service was close by and essential for access to BTS (Skyrail) the subway is 15 minute walk but not handy to anything without 15 minute trip. The hotel appeared clean but. I noticed some dust, I am a bit allergic to dust. The room was comfortable and serviced regularly, mini bar was warm

Good location
Good location if you going to river or Icon Siam. I think its more like a 2,5 star than 3 star. -cold water and they couldnt order a taxi because the app they use didnt work... + Nice location and friendly staff. Be aware that the breakfast is like a dish plate not a buffet.

Decent budget hotel
The hotel rooms are more or less equivalent to what you see on hotels.com. The only exception are the bathrooms, which need to be renovated. Friendly staff, no in-room dining, not the best location (far from public transportation) but vlose to the river.

フローリングの床・広いスペース！
清潔感のあるフローリングの床で、広いスペースがよかったです。WiFiも各階にあり、接続は快適でした。私は６日間滞在しましたが、長期滞在でも疲れませんでした。 欲を言えば、机が小さいこと。ノートPCを広げて作業するには奥行きが狭くて少し窮屈でした。 でも、全体としてはとても満足しています。

The hotel is in a pretty good location, just a few minutes from the riverside boats and a convenience store. The nearest Sky train stop was an easy 15 minute walk. There are some great local restaurants in the area. The hotel is a little old but functions well enough for the price. Our room was clean and cozy. Breakfast had a few different choices and was reasonable. The staff were charming and did their best to help us. However, the internet connection was unreliable and the shower had lukewarm water. I would certainly stay at the hotel again and would recommend it to a friend who is looking for a small, reasonably priced, friendly hotel in a safe and convenient location.

If you use the boat and than BTS you are in a good location. Nice hotel that could have only a little better with staff that know something about guest management and of cleaning would be more efficient.

Great value - very convenient.
Very good location, just minutes from the river taxi, River City, Charoen Krung Road. Very clean, everything works. English a bit of a problem but no big deal. Reception did not know where "National Museum" is, but this was probably an English issue.

Perfecte prijs/kwaliteit, boven verwachting
Dit hotel is uitstekend voor flashpackers. Goede locatie (bijna aan rivier, co van Kessel voor fietstocht om de hoek), uitstekende service. Mooie entree en duidelijke info over restaurants in de omgeving. Kamer is ruim, badkamer wat verouderd, maar schoon en gezien de prijs die je voor de kamer betaalt, meer dan adequaat.

Kleines Hotel Nähe Rivercity
Ich habe zwei Nächte im P & R Residence verbracht. Wer ein einfaches, kleines Hotel in sicherer Gegend sucht, ist hier richtig. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich die portugiesische Botschaft, Kunstgallerien und eine exklusive Shopping Mall (Rivercity). Auch Boots Pier für River Cruises. China Town ist nördlich in 10-15 Gehminuten erreichbar. Südlich ist der Beginn der belebten Silom Road. Zum Zimmer: Einfach aber hübsch eingerichtet. Zum Frühstück; Man wählt zwischen drei verschiedenen Sets - Omelette/ Spiegeleier, Toast, Marmelade... Es gibt kein Buffet - was sich aber auch für nur 35 Zimmer nicht lohnen würde. :-) Für die Fahrt zum Airport gab es ein kleines Tütchen mit einer Flasche Wasser, Keksen und Taschentüchern. Man kommt von dort recht schnell auf den Highway zum Airport - was im täglich zusammenbrechenden Verkehr ein Bonus ist. Preis 500 Baht, Fahrtzeit ca. 45 min.

great stay at a great price
very nice smiling staff, clean rooms, big beds, regular size breakfast, great decoration! They provide umbrellas and there is always water and candies at the lobby. The Ferry to go to the main areas and see the temples is just 2 minutes walk! the best touch? at checkout they gave us a goodie bag with water bottle, paper tissues and a little packet of crackers :-) First time in my life! The only drawback is that there are not a lot of restaurants around, just the ones from the Sheraton Hotel, a few street vendors. all the same, Harmonique, a very good restaurant is a 5 min walk away.

Very good lodging close to Chao Phraya River
I traveled to Bangkok for the Thai International Medical Center & stayed at P&R for 1 week . P&R was very close to a Chao Phraya River ferry dock & is a short ride to the sky train . The hotel is an original Thai building , clean & upgraded with WiFi for each floor with excellent signal . The rooms are quiet , clean , with very good AC ( important in Bangkok ) and hot showers . There is also a small fridge to chill beverages . An excellent matcha / expresso shop is across the street . At P&R you get the important basics for a very good price . I will stay here again when in Bangkok .

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, although not great English ability. It is in a quiet, calm neigbourhood, with a 5 minute walk from the water taxi that can take you anywhere in Bangkok - so very conveniently located! Sheraton hotel is close with more restaurant options for evening dining.
