This stopover was the worst l’ve had in years. The bed wasn’t made at all well, light bulbs out in bathroom, lift not working and meals very basic

Hotel is in bad condition, smell in room, holes in carpet, badly maintained , I left after 20 min in the room, asked them not to charge me as I left before 6pm, they charged my card 2 days later.

Property badly in need of a refurbishment - holes and frayed carpet in the bedroom - grotty bathrooms - sticky floors throughout. Three stars is too high for this property.

Sehr spät in der Nacht angekommen und Buchung über App hat nicht geklappt. Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns ohne Probleme ein Zimmer gegeben. Parkplatz direkt vor Ort. Frühstück war top. Kaltes Buffet und irisch breakfast nach Wunsch frisch in der küche zubereitet. Alles Top

Cheap and cheerful
Stayed 1 night for work in the area Hotel is run down compared to many others I have stayed in but the bedroom was good. The rest of the place needs a renovation and the poor lady on reception was overstretched and seemed to be the only one there. The bar food was ok and the breakfast area needs a good re vamp Stay made more pleasant by helpful receptionist/barmaid

Food us fantastic, especially the price. Rooms are huge. But the tv is abysmal. 4 maybe 5 channels picture and choice is dreadful. I like to chill in evening put tv no point. Wifi is even worse in rooms. Too slow to use and drops out constantly.

Fawlty Towers Cork without gags
jaw-droppingly poor, room not clean, hairs in bed, towels not changed, ensuite not cleaned properly, no heating, complained but no effort to fix or compensate, letting the whole town down, embarrassed for the staff who are v nice but can’t make up for pathetic ‘non’ management

Très bon séjour !
Nous avons passé deux nuits dans cette hôtel et ce fut un très bon choix ! La réceptionniste était très accueillante et nous a donné de bons conseils pour visiter l’irlande. La chambre était très spacieuse, propre et confortable ! Je recommande les yeux fermées !

Makes Syria worth a visit !
Sticky dirty floor on arrival, the bar area floor was worse - the waitress was asked 3 times for a menu 3 times before I went and got one for myself. There were 5 people in at the time. The chips looked like they were a week old ! The wifi signal was poor. The bed was uncomfortable and might as well have been lying on a rack of spuds ! The chair fell apart at breakfast and the waitress actually forgot about my order and after 25 mins so I left.... a very dissatisfied customer

good hotel central for travelling about
we loved the food and the location of this hotel, we travelled to Killarney and cork and inchdoney beach, good location and great wee town.. I was however disappointed in the cleanliness of the room and hall way etc.. lots of cobwebs on inside of windows and in light fittings and the carpet in the room wasn't hovered well and mirrors very smeary in the bedroom and there was long hairs in the bath,, cups in the room could also have done with bleach,, . I know these are small things but they do make a difference.. breakfast was ok but not much variety for kids. only cornflakes and museli..

Well Worn Accommodation
The Hotel is in need of a spruce up, bedroom net curtains torn & in need of a clean, bathroom tiles need replacing around floor level. Evening food and bar service excellent. Breakfast OK but lacking in choice of fresh fruit, cereals etc

Wir waren nur für eine Zwischenübernachtung in dem Hotel. Die drei Sterne hat es auf gar keinen Fall verdient. Die Einrichtung in den Zimmern war schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Betten waren nicht "sauber" bezogen, aber hoffentlich frisch!!! Wlan ging nicht. Spinnweben. Das Personal war freundlich.

El colchón de muelles hundido con dos grandes agujeros en ambos lados. Dormíamos mejor en el suelo. Arañas en casi todas las esquinas de techos. Cuando llegamos el water con Tesco de heces secas!!! La limpieza muy mala. Se pegaba la suela al zapato en el comedor. Lo mejor el desayuno. Lo peor que dormíamos en los sillones, Cambiar el colchón. Baño muy viejo. Hotel deI Irlandeses nada turistas extranjeros. Es un hotel de Aghata Christy....las arañas son parte del mobiliario...

room is dated and tv is in the corner of the room so you can't really see it with wires everywhere, room walls are paper fin and all you hear is next door! service was slow im bar even when not busy but food is ok in everning but breakfast is good. shower Curtin was dirty and bed not too bad for confort. price is too high for this hotel stayed in much better for less

well over priced
it was like stepping back in time, the first room didn't look so they move me to another room and as the check-in lady said you have a great view of the river well I did because the net curtain was in bits, food was nothing special and service was poor my advice look else ware

Surprise and pleasant transfer.
I did not stay at the Riverside Hotel, I was transferred to the Castle Hotel. This hotel and its staff were excellent.

Staff are friendly and accommodating
We were given a room that smelled like my grandmothers basement. Opening the windows didn’t help. We tried to call the front desk but the phone didn’t work. Internet wouldn’t work there either. We loaded all our stuff up and went down to the front desk and were given a much better room. Breakfast was ok. Server was not friendly.
