*Warning* Hotel does not refund you the security deposit. It has been nearly 3 weeks since our stay and I have left around 5 voicemails and have called more than 15 times... No answer or call back. Not worth the price especially on top of the 250 dollars they never refund you back. They also don’t disclose that on Sunday at about 2 am their irrigation system turns on for about 30 minutes and it sounds like the house is falling apart. Woke up the whole family and scared the kids.

Best Hotel I've been to in a while
Well kept beautiful grounds with exotic plants. They have ultra high end bedding and keep the place spotless. I always free great coming out of the city and staying here. Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed...

Grounds were beautiful and well-kept. The rooms were clean and the projector TV was great. Overall, a very positive experience.

Not at all a good time!
Our "suite" was the basement apartment inside a house which was for sale. We never saw another person. There were no signs, etc. indicating this was our place. We thought we were in the driveway of a home and therefore in the wrong place. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer (we were one hour early to check in time). We tried to cancel with hotels.com as we thought this was wrong. In that process, we spent 25 minutes parked on the road on the phone with hotels.com.. They were told by the property manager we could not cancel as we were "inside cancellation window" although we were uncomfortable with what we were seeing and felt very awkward and parked on the side of the road waiting. We spoke to the "property manager" (also known as the 24/7 help desk) on the phone who told us we were in the right place and checked us in remotely. We got in to a very clean but not at all homey basement apartment with tile floors, no "warm" things like pictures, etc. no dishwasher soap, few cooking supplies, coffee, an espresso maker but no coffee maker, an electrical coffee pot with no filters, and no real way to make the coffee. We stayed and made the best of it as we were not allowed a refund--the place was a cold feeling, lonely. basement apartment in a house which is for sale and is being managed by property managers. We had keys we couldn't figure out what they were for as we went in and out the sliding glass door to the back lawn under the deck. Never againl

A nice modern place, but not for groups
**Disclaimer: My friends and I (7 of us) wanted to come out here for a small gathering to listen to music and play some video/card games for the weekend away from school** To start, this hotel is not marked in any way and just appears to be a home when you get to it. There is no check in desk, there is just a person watching a camera for people coming in the driveway and then subsequently staring at you from the window as you drive up... which was really weird and kind of unnerving. We stayed in the basement of this three story place which was accessed through a slider under the back porch. Upon arrival we found out that because there were 7 of us instead of the 4 that they have a policy for, we would be charged an extra $50 a night PER PERSON. Since we stayed 2 nights, this brought our price up another $300, which was more than we payed for the place to begin with. As any group of 7 individuals in their 20s would do, we received some noise complaints from the elderly guests above us. We were listening to music and playing rock band when we received our first noise complaint... at 530 PM. We received our second noise complaint at 8 PM (We deserved that one) and our last on at 1107 PM (We were pretty calm at this point). It was here that the host threatened to call the police and the school we came from. Tired of dealing with it, we just went to sleep. Bottom line, this place isn't a place to go and be even relatively loud with others.

Snowed in
We were well received by the host's father who was attentive to our needs. We ended up being completely snowed in and stayed an extra night during which he brought us a bottle of wine which was nice. We had the basement unit which was spacious, with a functioning kitchen and good value for the money. The apartment was comfortable and very clean if not very cozy, but of course that is a matter of taste. Again, we were grateful for the kind welcome by host's father.

Loved the big screen!!
I enjoyed my stay at the Roxbury Suites! Jim was an excellent host and attended to all my needs! The building is situated directly in the middle of a huge grass area with tons of pine trees. Our room had a huge movie theater screen inside!! We had popcorn and watched movies on the big screen all night. I couldn't beileve the size of our rooms for the price. Better then any hotel I've ever been to

Jim the owner is very accommodating. Place is completely refurbished.
