I loved almost everything about my stay at the hotel except the cleaning aspect. I spent 5 days there and not a single day did a cleaner come around to clean the room. which was very disappointing but overall , my stay was very good of which I would have said excellent but for the cleaning bit.

Unfortunately our room was unclean. The bathroom floor was covered in yellow tea type stains (I hope) and the shower was stained. The walls in the bedroom were splattered with stains also. Won’t be back. Incredibly noisy outside after midnight and had to phone to reception. Went on far too long.

Needs a refurb and quickly. Took 3 rooms to get one that was ok. Shower cubicles are mouldy need resealed and grouted. Sink in toilet cracked. Neither of us used the shower. Wouldn’t recommend

Great hotel, great location. Stayed here with my 6 year daughter due to having a show on at the ovo hydro which is located across the road. Will definitely stay here again.

Nothing was clean. The cups, the floor had crusted stains on it and hadn’t been hoovered… but worst of all someone walked into my room without knocking as I was getting out of the shower and there were a lot of dodgy people just hanging around the foyer… really odd and unsafe for a person alone

Professionally ran establishment with large modern rooms in the centre of the city. Much better than a hotel room so we will book here again in the furure.

Rooms Desperately need an upgrade. Curtains were hanging off railings so light from outside was unstoppable. Black mold in the shower, bits of black tissue paper flooding toilet when flushed.... Coming out from under the rim. Cheap and nasty carpets making the floors hard and cold. It is a budget hotel but linen should still fit the bed. Only positive was the bed was comfortable

Had to cancel our dinner booking as it was going to take over a hour to receive our meal. Took over half hour just to place food order or drinks order, only after we chased after the waiter, then to be told it would take half hour for the food to be served. Was surprised how long it would take as there was only 3 tables in use at the time.

Only thing I was unhappy with was that there was no food options giving its location next to the hydro. Food was offered from 5pm to 8:30pm and we had to go without food for the night due to this. Something simple as a slice of toast or chips on the menu is better than nothing.

Nice property and friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were nice but was disappointed with stained sheets and dirty mugs. Piles became blocked but staff were helpful. Good area however not overly close to shops, but good parking availability.

Have stayed here before but disappointed on this occasion. There was a damp smell as soon as we opened the door. Hadn’t been hoovered properly as there were bits of food on the floor beside the bed - don’t know how housekeepers missed it! Can’t fault the service as desk staff were great but some TLC required in the rooms.

Nice hotel
Met by pleasant Irish girl on arrival. Good directions on where to go. Good lift access. Room clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast good choice. Very very close to Hydro great when attending. Reception excellent at chasing up taxi when they were few and far between as busy. No complaints.

Easy access to the hydro, 25 min walk to the center of Glasgow. Very quiet very cosy, shower water pressure was great and bed was comfortable.

Was given a family restricted mobility room which had an open shower and the window had been left open all day so it was very cold. Also only two plugs in the room none near the bed so charging was very inconvenient.

The dining experience was awful. Staff rude. No manners. Loud noisey. Ltd menu. Room clean but needing upgraded as did hitel. Outside dirty liads rubbush not safe. Trued to book directly but staffs language a serious problem. Wont book again

Disappointing
Location of Hotel excellent. Difficulty understanding receptionist, English not being her first language. Pleasant room but on closer inspection, realised cleanliness was not good. Skirtings were dirty and vacuuming could have been done to a higher standard. Base sheet of bed did not fit properly and had to pull sheet up several times. No mattress protector on bed. Have booked this hotel again in December and hoping these points are improved.

Needs an upgrade but good location.
The first room we were in had curtain hanging off rail and the bathroom was dirty so we asked to be moved. The second room was clean but tired looking, grout in bathroom mouldy. Beds were comfortable though and location to Hydro was good . Free breakfast was okay too - lots of choice. Staff were very helpful.

The property itself a was nice but a bit limited, not a lot of public transport near the hotel
