The hotel was very loud at nighttime and did not enforce quiet hours. Additionally there were several small ants in our hotel room. We did not carry in food with us, which makes me believe the problem was there before our stay. Will not be staying at this location again in the future.

In general, it’s a nice hotel but quite a driving distance to JFK airport. The complimentary breakfast is good.

Property was ok. I didn't like that the hotel took a $250 hold on my credit card up front. Also when i went for breakfast - which ended at 10, I tried getting some juice while the attendant stoody by chatting. the pump didn't work because they turned it off exactly at 10 and it was about 2 minutes after 10. Even thought the attendant was standing there, she made no effort to help or make any exception. Instead, she was quick to point out that breakfast ended at 10, with no remorse or apology. WHile i understand rules, I also understand customer service and how important it is to convey to the customer that they are valued. I did not feel valued. Rather, I felt like an inconvenience. Additionally, the water for the bathroom shower took a really long time to heat up, so much so that I thought the hot water didn't work.

This was just an average stay at a hotel for the night. I booked it because of the indoor pool and traveling with four teenagers. We got there and the pool was out of service. They should disclose that when booking. Also, the hot water took about ten minutes to actually get hot. The toilet paper is almost not within reach from the toilet. Pillows were awfully flat.

One of the rooms I reserved was missing the door handle to exit the bathroom. Other than that, the staff and the services were very good.

Stay out of room 201!
Check-in went smoothly and I appreciated the layout of the room - there's a couch and desk in a separate space from where the beds are. However, around 10pm I decided to take a shower only to find that the water was lukewarm at best. This must have been an issue with the shower, as the water temperature coming from the sink was hot. I reported this to the front desk, and was told me that the maintenance man had just left for the night. The clerk found me another room on the 4th floor, and gave me a key. I went there only to discover the same problem, plus the heat in that room wouldn't turn on. Another visit to the front desk provided me with a third room, which had hot water and heat. All was fine after that, however, I will note that I had to pack up everything from my original room and move it myself to the new room. Also, I received nothing but a brief apology for the inconvenience.
