Abandoned Hotel in Paradise
The beach is beyond gorgeous - stunning bright blue water, powder white sand, amazing vista - and very private. However, there are 6 villas and for most of our stay we were the only guests - the prior owner Sammy T is deceased but his dogs remain on the site, howling at night, with his pool now filled in with sand as a "rock garden" - it feels like you are staying in an abandoned hotel that is barely struggling to stay open. There is an amazingly friendly inn keeper who seems to be working so hard to keep things running - but it is hard for one person to be the breakfast server, the cleaning lady, the concierge, the check in person, and driver - I don't know how she does it - she gets an A++ for positive attitude and effort. But seriously be warned if you stay here that it feels "abandoned" as if you are on the beach version of the Titanic, past its heyday...

Very beautiful beach, heaven of peace. Buildings a bit worn. Small place. Modest food as in general on outer islands. Friendly staff

Tres bon sejour aux sammy t's, par contre le style et les meubles sont un peu vieux..... La plage est est sublime..... merveilleux

Skönt läge paradisstrand.
Extremt långsam frukostservering. Relativt nyligen i toppskick, men nya administrationen har eftersatt underhållet. Strandstolarna trasiga. Kanoterna på stranden saknade lock i avtappningshål och stuvfack. Ett par av lamporna på bryggan ner till stranden trasiga. Mycket skön atmosfär oh vacker strand, synd att ny ledningen saknar den hängivenhet som tidigare ägaren, avliden förra året, enligt lokala kommentatorer hade.

Can't wait to go back!
Sammy T's is on the most beautiful beach we have ever seen. The grounds and buildings are nicely decorated and all have nice views. Our only slightly negative comment is that the beds were a little bit hard and there wasn't any fresh fruit. Otherwise the food was great, the staff was excellent, and the beach exquisite.

mi e' rimasta la voglia di ritornarci
ambiente elegante ma non formale. Cucina molto buona e curata. Spiaggia meravigliosa, dicono che e' una delle 10 spiagge piu' belle del mondo.Il padrone del resort parla molto bene l'inglese ed e' persona istruita, simpatica e cordiale.Due volte al giorno veniva il cuoco a chiederci cosa desideravamo da mangiare. Pesce,aragoste e carne alla griglia squisiti. Scelta di vini buona. piccolo negozio per souvenir, e abbigliamento. il tv in camera ha il dvd, e vi e' ampia disponibilita' di dvd (gratuiti). C'e' un biliardo americano (un po' rovinato dal clima), ma su cui si riesce comunque a divertirsi.Ogni camera e' una villetta (non un bungalow) con begli arredi. la nostra villetta aveva una camera matrimoniale con una grande cabina armadio, un bagno, una cucina, un soggiorno e un terrazzino esterno. Zanzariere totali, ma non abbiamo visto zanzare. Nella villa centrale vi e' il bar e ristorante, il biliardo e l'iternet wifi. Nessuna formalita' per il prelievo di bevande dal frigo, basta dirlo la sera. La barriera corallina e' a cento metri dalla spiaggia, e forma un semicerchio che arriva fino a riva racchiudendo il mare in una piscina di acqua dai colori stupendi. Bel giardino molto curato ricco di molte varieta' di piante. Resort per pochi turisti interessati alla pace, al riposo, al mangiare bene e nuotare in un mare meraviglioso.
