The Waterford is situated in a fantastic location with unbeatable views. The apartment was very comfortable with plenty of space and the owners were very nice and accommodating.

The views are spectacular. The facilities are very good (just a few minor ageing/wear issues). Beds comfortable and helpful friendly staff. Location is excellent as it’s right across from the beach, 2 blocks to the Sea Urchin Cafe (excellent brekky) and a beautiful beach walk to Surfers. The paths are great for going on my scooter too. The pool was moderate in size but very pleasant.

You will also be pleased to hear that we are having our entire outdoor facilities upgraded from May - July this year - we will have an onsite gym, new BBQ facilities and the entire pool and spa area is being revamped, with an extra spa being built too! Fantastic beach views, good size apartment with all you need to be comfortable. Great pool. Air conditioning was only unit in lounge so bedrooms hot, apartment was little tired and needed renovations eg holes in walls and little dirty. Blinds not great or working properly

Stunning views, spacious, great family spot
The Waterford was a fantastic place to stay. The views are breathtaking and as they are from every room you are always connected to the outdoors. The apartment was spacious and provided my husband and I enough space away from our three children, who had enough space to play. The kitchen was fully equipped. The spa bath was great, a beautiful view, especially at nighttime over the canal. The reception was lovely with lots of useful information. The pool and spa were a great place to relax and we used the tennis court several times. Walking distance to cafes and directly opposite the beach with uninterrupted views.

Great view but not worth the price.
Lovely location. Reception hours does not mean there is anyone actively at the reception, check in and or check out desk. I had to wait to check in even though I arrived at 3pm because there was no-one there to check me in. There was a sign saying 'Back in 10 minutes'. Waited 20 minutes, called mobile provided and had to leave a message. For the price I paid I would expect someone to be at reception to check me in. No one was there when I checked out either. Otherwise the view was gorgeous. The building is old and tired, but it is obvious that the internal has been substantially refurbished. Won't be returning due to expense for what you get.

Words can’t begin to express how amazing the view was from the apartment. Literally endless ocean views. We stayed for a long weekend...could easily stay for much longer. Friendly and efficient management. Clean apartment and plenty of room for the family.

Fantastic view
This was our second time visited at waterford and we just love this place as it’s located on a main road but more quite than surfers paradise and broad beach and you can enjoy the fantastic seaview from the apartment. Facilities at the apartment was very mordern and luxurious.

Breathtaking Views in nice Quiet Location.
The Waterford is what Americans would refer to as a condominium apartment in which some owners rent out their apartments as vacation rentals. Much thus likely depends on the apartment you get. I stayed on the 12th floor and was very pleased with my apartment. The views were breathtaking. To my taste the Waterford is ideally located. It is located right across the street from the beach in a quiet location between Surfers Paradise and Main Beach village. Some might consider it a bit out of the way – I do not. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to Surfers Paradise and about an 8 minute walk to Tedder Avenue in the village of Main Beach. While Surfers Paradise has some attractions, in my opinion it is nice to be removed yet close enough to access as it is too noisy at night for my taste. Tedder Avenue, the primary street through Main Beach village, strikes me as very upscale with some pricey restaurants which will appeal to some – depending on their budget. The town of Southport is about a 20 minute walk – albeit most would drive or take the G-Link [Gold Coast Light Rail] to Southport. The closets G-Link stop is about a 6-8 minute walk from the Waterford. You will likely get your supplies from either the Coles or Woolworths’ in Surfers Paradise or Southport. The extent of what you will need depends on how many meals you prepare in your apartment. I would definitely stay at the Waterford again.

Best views on the coast
The Waterford on Main is a quiet place with fantastic views, 30 seconds from a wonderful beach. Approximately 2km (20 minutes walk) from Surfers Paradise. The building has a small pool and jacuzzi, tennis court and BBQ area. Our room was very clean and the building was well maintained. We stayed there for 6 days and would definitely come back again.

Just returned after a week away at The Waterford on Main (with my husband and our two children aged 2 years and 4 months old). It was perhaps the most beautiful apartment I've ever stayed in. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on the 21st floor. As the lift doors opened, all you saw was water! Just gorgeous.

Apartment was wonderful. Views from everywhere. The only disappointing thing was that not enough dishwashing liquid is supplied and you start your stay cleaning the last persons dirty dishes. Other than that it was a fantastic apartment.

Excellent Host, Excellent Service, Superior Facility and on top of all these Outstanding View... All bedrooms have balcony and two bathrooms have balcony. Nice and close to beach
It was a great weekend away and we didn't let the smelly room hamper our stay. The owners did warn us of a smell to the carpet (apparently it had just been cleaned) and we did get the opportunity to check the room before paying but when you have 3 excited kids, we thought with a bit of airing the carpets would dry and it would be fine. The smell didn't go away. The location was great, plenty to do and overall the premises was clean and presentable.

Great location right on the beach
The Waterford is in a great location, close enough to Surfers Paradise for when you want it, but far enough away to be quiet. The views are stunning and the apartments are lovely, very roomy with fabulous wrap around balconies.
