We deeply regret your unpleasant experience during your stay with us .We fully understand your discomfort and wish to seek your understanding. Even though our hotel grounds are fumigated regularly and all villas treated by a mosquito coil every evening, we have greatly reduced but cannot completely eradicate the geckos, insects and other small animals move freely in the natural tropical surroundings, particularly due to our proximity to the jungle and padi fields. Moving forward we have put in place protocols for our staff to deal with any insect by promptly removing them from your premises followed by a fumigation at the earliest possible time, and if needed provide an alternative villa for your comfort and assurance throughout your stay.We have noted your comments regarding the outdoor showers. As Villa Semana is surrounded by villages and working padi fields, farmers going about their daily lives are part and parcel of our landscape and are an authentic display of life in Bali. Although they may move around close to the perimeter of the hotel, please be assured that they will respect your privacy and not cause any discomfort during outdoor shower use. Alternatively, our guests can use the indoor shower in Bathtub.We acknowledge the lapse of service during your stay and sincerely apologize. Your experience with us is in no way reflective of the high standards have set for ourselves. The Covid-19 pandemic has devastated much of Balinese tourism, and although we have endeavored to retain our service standards through rigorous re-training as our staff return from a long period of hotel inactivity, it is evident that there are gaps resulting in a less than perfect guest experience which we truly regret. With the global economic recovery and gradual return to normality, we have fortunately resumed normal operations and staffing, and look forward to providing you with the exceptional Villa Semana experience that many guests come back for time and again.Once again, thank you for choosing Villa Semana and we hope to welcoming you again at Villa Semana.
