Firstly, you should be prepared that this hotel has long narrow staircases and no lift. Even the reception is up on the first floor. Therefore, if you are mobility-impaired, or taking heavy luggage this may be an issue.
I booked a “deluxe double” which turned out to be in the 4th floor attic space. The room was comfortable and clean (albeit with a plasticy mattress protector) , but had no windows, so slightly claustrophobic for me. There was however an opaque skylight, which had no blind. Not an issue for me as an early start meant I was up before daylight anyway, but might be an issue come mid summer for a light sensitive sleeper.
Would I stay there again? Yes, and hopefully on a lower floor, and I’d take “deluxe” with a pinch of salt.
