Thaylor is indeed a great person, friendly, carrying and helpful. So is the chef.
The food was also great, as per all the reviews we read before (not cheap, but really good).
The staff is also nice, not all of them speak or understand English, but they are all really nice.
The hotel is right on the beach, a narrow but nice strip of beach, water is clear; however not very clean, a lot of plastics or garbage thrown away, but I guess it's a culture thing. Once you go to Dominican Republic, you should lower your standards of hygiene etc.
Our room was pretty noisy during the nights because in the bars nearby, but I guess it was out of our hotel's control.
The room was big and clean, good A/C, no mini-fridge and no toiletries.
