Fair warning - I would guess that the positive reviews this place gets are probably from local thieves looking to draw in their marks. The man working at the front desk was nice and also reasonable, and after I first told him we were not going to stay the night he reassured me that he walks the property with his dog every couple hours. Not much solace in that if you've seen what I saw though. Building is not too run down but the doors don't seem super secure. The room was not very clean, food crumbs and bottle caps on the floor. Bed was made and sheets clean, but in inspecting the bed found a jagged piece of coat hanger stashed within the made bedding - clearly put there after the room was 'cleaned' - someone was in the room before us, why.. I have no idea. Neighbourhood is known for prostitution (I have no problem with this profession but don't need to be surrounded by it while on vacation) and full on human trafficking apparently. We stayed in our room only as long as it took to find somewhere better to stay and left in less than an hour. If you're not from Seattle and don't know the area - probably don't stay here.
