The location is fabulous! Saint Augustine is such a beautiful city with so much going on. The beach is also gorgeous. The parking is off site which is a little inconvenient. The mattress in our room was soft and saggy. It needs an upgrade. Overall the inn is charming. The staff is very accommodating and we had a great stay.

I stayed here for two nights with my girlfriend for a small St. Augustine vacation and it was perfect. The room was very nice and extremely close to the center of town which made it a very easy walk to the different shops or restaurants. The only issue I could see a potential visitor having is the parking distance, as it's a distant walk to your car. It might have taken us around ten minutes to get to their lot, which for us was fine as we walked everywhere anyway, so if that's your plan you should be okay. Other than that, their lot is in a location that feels safe so I never worried about leaving my car for a long period of time.

Hotel very conveniently located to everything. Parking is about a 10 min walk. Room was nice. Only complaint…no ice machine.

5 stars for everything. Clean, well maintained, great location, easy walking to everthing in old town. Only drawback is parking. Parking is offsite about a 10 min walk. A car is a pain in St Augustine anyway. Everything you need is within walking distance and seeing all the little old town streets is what you came for in the first place. Excellent for the price.

Great place to stay
Overall a great place to stay . Very close to everything in the historical district. My only complaint is the parking situation. It’s about a half mile walk from where your parking spot is, which is located at a separate apartment complex , to your room . Other than that it was a very nice stay. AC works great.

Quaint room great location!
This place was wonderful! It is a quaint spot right in the middle of downtown to easily access downtown St. Augustine. Great view of the bay. The room was clean and perfect. They thought of everything that you might need for your stay. It was not noisy being above the bar. Maybe it depends on the time of year you go. The only downside is the parking so far away. It’s a few blocks but we had bicycles so it didn’t matter to us. Plus we love to walk! I could see how other people might not want to walk so far to car. The service was great and perfect for a short weekend stay.

The good and bad
The good-The room was a good size and the hotel was in a great location. Walking distance to everything. The bad- dirty carpet and room 3 did not have a bay view like stated.

The most unique thing about this property was the false advertising of it having a balcony, being clean and fresh. It had ants coming out the fridge area, dust all over the walls, mildew/mold smell that was over powering, and black specs all over the sheets and bedding that we were not going to take the chance of being signs of bed bugs after all the other grossness. We didnt stay and am still waiting for the refund. If i dont get said refund, i will make another review about that terrible process as well. 200$ for one night for it to be so disgusting.....we were not happy! If you are looking at this place....DONT. Go to the hilton garden. It was cheaper and it was NICER!

Solid choice
Great location, clean and well appointed room, the check-in and parking procedures could be better, remote parking is about 6 min walk, however the city is so walkable you really don’t need your car till you leave town, the rooms are right above a very fun bar but surprisingly not too much noise can be heard from the room.

We stayed two nights at Bella Bay 5/19 and 5/20 and the only time it was quiet was between 12:30am and 6am Loud music constantly, two wedding receptions in the building right next door, and the thumping of the music from the pub directly below our floor, people standing outside the window yelling and talking like they were in the room. The loudest construction I have ever heard all morning. It was awful. We almost left in the middle of the night the first night and went back home to Orlando. If had not had a prior engagement the next day we would have. The parking situation was terrible.. the lot was half a mile from the hotel and it was in an empty parking lot of an abandoned building… I was the only car in there when I parked. I moved my car the following morning and ended up using a paid spot in front of the hotel the rest of the trip. I was not comfortable leaving my car in that sketchy lot. The room had a very musty smell to it, I am sure do to being so close to the bay, but other than that it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, wish I could have actually had a peaceful nights sleep in it. Sadly we will not be staying at this hotel again.. nearly 300 dollars a night is easily twice as much as this room is worth during the most peak of times. Disclaimers about the noise and parking should be made before purchasing.

I was very impressed with our room. We had the top floor, the view was amazing. It was a very beautiful room, I will be staying here the next time I visit St Augustine.

There was no person to check in with----the cleaning lady helped and so glad she was there----luggage up narrow staircase was a bit of challenge---my room was freezing cold despite my attempts to turn it off or down---would stay again for sure

Great place for a getaway
Room 1 was beautiful and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable. It was in a very convienient spot with great access to the downtown shopping and restaurants. It was amazing.

Parking was .6 miles away, hard to find the parking lot due to no signage, not enough designated spaces once we finally found it, complete darkness. Several calls to owner were ignored. Water view was obstructed by buildings. Room itself was ok. Good location.

No information ahead of time about how to obtain entry to my room. There Is no one onsite to assist other than a phone number to call. There is no onsite parking as indicated on Orbitz website. Room was clean other than a musty smell from bedspread . It should be washed or replaced.

Comforting visit
The facility was wonderful. Offsite parking was a bit of a pain and wasn't clear in the advertising. Only real complaint was that the in-room coffee was not good at all. Ten rating for overall, 2 (at best) for coffee.

Overall the place was in prime real estate for what we were looking for as far as location and the place is great and the room had good space and was clean however the biggest downfall was that it was located directly above a bar. Music and yelling people all the way until around 12:30-1 at night, so sleep until after that was not an option.

This property is walking distance to EVERYTHING. This was a gem to find and clean, usually stay in hotels but the area is made up of many little inns and motels so I was particular in where I would end up staying. The only drawback is the parking and offloading situation, apparently the parking lot right in front is owned by another establishment so you have to park two blocks away.

Wonderful little spot!
The room was very quaint and comfortable. Nice ceiling fan (we love ceiling fans at hotels)! And a mini split and a window unit. So climate was easily controllable and comfortable. Location was awesome. Windows looked out at the bridge of lions and OC whites across the street. Parking was a little tricky but easy to find if you follow the instructions. Room was very clean. Bathroom was also very clean and looked updated.
