I was there in 8/20/21. I booked for 2 nights. There was and still has been a raging wild fire at the time. I wanted to cancel the booking but I could not because it passed the cancellation date (8/17/21). I finally got to the hotel on the 20th because I did not want to waste my money. However, the air quality was and still has been hazardous, so due to my mom’ health concerns, we had to leave the next morning. I talked to the front desk man if we could get the refund for the second night. He told me to contact Expedia. I called Expedia in that evening, the agent was nice and he said Expedia approved for the refund. He also called the hotel to tell them about that, but the front desk did not answer. He even left a voice message for them. Next morning, we left the hotel and the area first thing because the air quality is getting even worse. I stopped by front desk, but they were not there. I called the hotel later afternoon for 4 times at various time, but no one picked up. I also left the voice message. I understand that I may not get refunded. But, a word from the hotel would be nice rather than being treated with silence. Super disappointed with customer service. Will never stay there again.
