The first night I was there it was horrible I ended up leaving the property before my second night that I already paid for. There was kids running and screaming all night long till 4am the room behind me or beside me had music blasting until after midnight. Called front desk phone just rings hung up called again was put on hold hung up called again and was put on hold and finally hung up on but when on hold the front desk was talking personal about something else with someone. I was trying to ask for my one night back but could not reach anyone at the front so I just left and took my room key with me it was pointless to go to the front desk. It was horrible and they need to have someone who can control the activity that is going on it’s a drug hotel and staff doesn’t care they don’t get up from the front desk to check or even do a walk around property before night no security no houseman to do checks. I am a hotel manager and that was the worst stay ever and I really liked my last stay there but not this one there’s no way you can sleep with all the activity going on kids running back and forth up and down the drugs the loud music, the people hanging out and sitting in the cars it doesn’t make you feel safe at all. Let me not forget the man yelling at 3am about his money for pills he sold to someone and going to the beach, this was a insane stay and I doubt I will stay at this hotel again I’m sorry it’s a nice place but the traffic and noise and the unsafe makes it bad .

Breakfast was not plentyful. Had to go out for breakfast. Cereal, rolls, Coffee only. Coffee was very good.

The truth is that it generated a lot of fear in us, the photos of the images make it look like a pleasant place, and honestly it was a bitter stay, my children were afraid, the room had unpleasant smells of a lot of cigarettes.

To start the price there was overrated, I paid $270 for 2 nights for a room where my heater did not work the entire stay and it was cold, the property was dirty, saw a lot of homeless individuals walking around with carts or probably call girls. Felt unsafe at times. The rooms could definitely be cleaner, non smoking rooms are for sure smoking, the hallways were dirty and smelly, but Front seat was nice. I would never stay there again.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the whole place smelled of marijuana, there was actually marijuana left in our room, neighboring doors were open with loud music and smoke rolling out, people rolling joints on the floor of the corridors between rooms. We stayed for about 20 minutes and switched to the Steve Holiday Inn Express & Suites, which was excellent. Thanks for Expedia for refunding our stay!

I'm not saying that it was your fault or the staff's fault as we did not call the front desk to report it but our next door neighbors were loud and raucous, using every F-bomb and N-word right up to 11:30. When we finally got to sleep the man went outside at 2:00 am and was loud on his phone until a loud woman told him to shut it down. We did not feel safe and we had a very hard time sleeping after that. I wish someone from the front desk would have handled the noise problem, but again, I didn't file a complaint.

I sure wish the washer and dryer worked here and wouldn't take out money. I stayed here last summer for 6 weeks and they were broken back then to. This time need more night time security to many people walking around all hours of the night

Would not recommend to stay at this property , at night so loud, stinky with marijuana or smoke. Reckless drivers on parking lot with loud music. Not worth a dime for this stay. Will never book again. Did not feel safe. Was hoping at least to wake up alive.

Ursula, Nia and Kathy were very nice and polite. I stayed here back in the summer for 5 weeks. It was nicer this time to be in a newly renovated room. I came on New Year's Eve and there was a couple of African American guys trying to bust into several of the hotel doors, that was very scary. Need to have security to walk around the place at night or put another type of locks on the doors.

At the last minute, we needed a room close to our family. Check-in was smooth and effortless, and we decided here. Our room cozy the heater didn't work. Only real complaints were that someone knocked on our door several times. No fault of the hotel though.

What a disaster. Cockroaches. Homeless population, sketchy behavior. The place is a dump. Staff is lovely too bad they work for such a dump. I left right after checking in because it was so bad but they would not refund my money. I guess they need all the money they can con from people.

Upon entrance, I couldn’t have asked for a better Manager at the desk. I booked 10 day stay. Initially my room was on second floor in the back. I explained to him, I’m traveling alone, I’m not familiar with the area although Jacksonville FL, has a reputation for high criminal activity. I said I would like a room up front, ground floor within eye view of his lobby. He was very understanding, accommodated my request perfectly. However, within 2 days, direct tv eliminated a couple of my favorite channels, leaving me with much of Jacksonville news. The next thing was, there was lots of work going on in the lobby and the outside parking lot, making a lot of noise and a struggle maneuvering my car around. Then the Florida palmettos (huge roaches 2) freaked me out, they were huge and fast as lightening. I was able to kill them. Then later in my stay, I saw a tiny spider mite moving on the pillow, ok not too bad, grabbed a tissue and when I went to kill and grab it, there was probably 50 of the little bugs all in a group…. Again freaked me out. And again all these things were uncontrollable, along with the extra loud guests hanging outside my door. I never complained because it was nothing that nice manger could control. But it does change my thoughts where I stay as I’ve never experienced these issues before. I travel periodically, but with shorter stays I’ve in more reputable hotels.

If you need a place to stay in orange park please make this place your choice the room was very spacious and clean and front desk was excellent. There are people walking around from the red roof in and motel 6 but they don't bother anyone I promise you will not be disappointed... And for the record no I do not work for quality inn just a happy customer

I was in town for a family funeral and booked with Quality Inn in Jacksonville, FL. Arrival was great and the customer service I received was absolutely wonderful. It was a breath of fresh air coming from a robust city. Arrived to my room, I unpacked a bit trying to get settle in and ordered a meal to eat. I pulled the sheet back and the sheet was dirty. I pulled the sheet back on the other bed and that was fine. I stripped the dirty bed down and called it a day since I was really tired. My delivery arrived, I picked it up from the lobby returned with my meal to the room and here comes a roaches. I quickly contacted the front office. They offered to move me, but I was informed that they don’t normally switch rooms but since I'm not local they will (REALLY??, then what is the option if the customer is dissatisfied). I packed my stuff received a new keys. Off to the new room, now the door will not open. The agent gave me another room. I didn't see any bugs and I was able to get some sleep before I had to wake up for the funeral in the morning. Knowing I had to iron my clothes, I grabbed to iron in the room the next morning it was dirty (it needs to be replaced). I left for the funeral as is. Came back to the hotel later in the evening knowing I have an early flight back home. I woke up around 2 a.m. just to find a roach crawling above my head. This stay for 2 nights was absolutely horrible and roaches were in the bathroom sink. I honestly can't believe this place is in bus

Please check non smoking rooms.
I have stay here before and what a difference this time, requested a non smoking room, and have to say it did not smell like cigarette, but had a very peculiar smell of another type of herbs. Had to go and get some lysol to be able to cancel a bit the odd smell.

Definate potential.
The staff was very polite and professional. The area is very convenient, close to entertainment, shopping and restaurants. The rooms could definitely use a good air out, cleaning and upgrade. For the price not a terrible place to stay.

No LAN line at all. ( no way to communicate to front desk) We asked desk person for her cell. Lady from adjacent building was screaming at guests from our hotel. Other guests were stanging outside their rooms watching the show.Front desk person (Sarah) was the only bright spot. Avoid this hotel. Bright spot...only saw one cockroach

Could always be worse.
The staff here was as friendly, inviting and accomodating as I've ever seen. The room, while very comfortable and well appointed, was dated and in need of cosmetic repairs and a thorough deep cleaning and had a musty odor to it. There were ants present in the bathroom and the water temperature in the shower impossible to control.
