Staff were kind enough, considering the price. Cleanliness of my room was waaay less than acceptable compared to what I’m used to (holiday inn, comfort suites, etc.). Carpet was visible dirty with gum and hair, didn’t want to take shoes off. Lots of toys and trash under all the furniture from previous guests. Bathroom looked like grandmas bathroom from the 1970s and she was too tired to deep clean it anymore. Shower curtain had mold on it. All the walls and doors were dirty.
If you come from a no-shoes, deep clean every month kinda house, this is not going to be for you.
Usually when you stay in a hotel, you don’t want a constant reminder of previous guests, and I just could not get the thought out of my mind enough to be comfortable. Granted this is a motel/inn, but I don’t feel like it even came close to the bare minimum standard. I have stayed in $69 motels years ago, and this just reminded me of them, maybe worse. This inn is in dire need of a renovation.
