Bedding is very comfortable
It has a great view of the lake and the room is close to the beach, so it is great for children to play in the sand. And the bedding is very comfortable.

Last Minute Getaway… I have never stayed anywhere as close to the water as the room I had, and I can’t say how impressive this location is!! The waves at night sounded like you were at the ocean and the sand at this beach was spectacular. They could improve the breakfast a touch…eggs and maple syrup. Just a recommendation especially when you are in maple syrup country. The place was immaculate though - and the hotel staff were warm, friendly and very attentive.

I’m surprised that I “checked in” as the property was well aware I was unable to cross the bridge to arrive & the room was booked because we were as mentioned above, unable to cross the bridge. Who checked in at 10:07? Was this room given to someone and checked in under my name? Is there a secret time that I was required to check in by or I forfit my room? Please email me more details about this “check in”. I believe there was fraud taking place. Thanks!

Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future.Unfortuneately, your reservations were booked through a 3rd party website. At the time of booking you were given a cancellation of 72 hours prior to arrival. The hotel in good faith held the reservations through the following morning at which time the hotel neither received any cancellation notification and no one arrived at hotel to occupy the reservation. There for as per company policy and in accordance with the cancellation/no show policy which you agreeed to when making your reservation, a cancellation/noshow charge was applied to the reservation. At no time did anyone check in under your name and at no time was the room occupied by someone else. Again, I apologize for any confusion in regard to your reservations and charges, and I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.

It was a nice clean place to stay after shutting down our property for the winter. The staff was nice and they had a nice convenient breakfast the next morning. You definitely have to be able to walk flights of steps.

This is an old property in desperate need of updating. Things seems clean enough, but many things in the room were aged and in disrepair. The biggest concern was that when we arrived (after 9pm) there hadn’t been any heat turned in in the room. Considering it Was just above freezing outside, this meant it took a while before the room was comfortable.

For a hotel of this size and capacity I expected a lot of noise, I was surprised to find the place quiet and felt safe. the location is very convenient to dining and shopping. The staff was exceptionally gracious and helpful.

Perhaps the worst motel stay I’ve ever had. Rude staff, unkempt room. I’m in the process of filing a complaint with the chain. Terrible experience and not worth the money. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

The view was nice, until see guests with dogs using the beach as their rest area and not cleaned up. WiFi acess was spotty at best. Toilet clogged with just going no. 1 with little toilet paper. Had to call for plunger and use it every time we flushed. Breakfast wasn't too good what so ever and the room was so hot even with the heat off and patio door open. Front desk ladies not friendly at all.

Rough night!
Our stay was ruined by one small thing… an electric outlet! There was only one near the beds & it didn’t work. My CPAP machine cord wouldn’t reach any other outlet so I got almost no sleep all night! It’s the little things that count!

Nice property with good view of the lake and decent breakfast options. Parking when the hotel is fully booked is a little hard to find but it worked out eventually. If you require use of an elevator for accessibility, there is only one and it can be far from your room and the breakfast facility and pool so keep that in mind.

The location was great and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the ferry. The breakfast was decent, but you have to walk outside in order to get to it. The food was also the same every day. The shower was short- I'm 5'0 and thought it was short. The bed was very comfy though. Our room had a jacuzzi in it as well which was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Staff not particularly friendly. Seemed less than over-joyed about working here. Accommodations were decent enough, but nothing to rave about. The Comfort Inn in Gaylord where we stayed the night before was head and shoulders above this place.

Rooms were fine,, everything in working condition. However, was not impressed with the breakfast. Pancakes and ham? A weird combination. Orange juice watered down, not a lot of selections.

Disappointed
We picked this hotel because it had Wifi and an indoor pool. The internet did not work at all for our entire stay. Front desk was not helpful. There is an indoor pool, but all rooms are only accessible from outside walkways- we would have to cross the parking lot in bathing suits. Rooms are dated.
