I like the convenience of the hotel. It was close to everything. I called one day in advance to request a crib for my baby. I was assured the staff would see this when I came in. When I arrived to the hotel, there were no cribs available.

We needed an accessible room for a family member in a leg cast. We were able to get a comfortable room and accessible shower. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and responsive.

Great stay. Good beds, very convenient off the main highway with several stores, gas stations, and restaurants close by. Breakfast was excellent and staff was friendly. Definitely recommend if heading to KD or BGW

Our room (studio suite) was FILTHY upon arrival. My son had no blanket for the pull out sofa coach- it had broken springs- torn mateess, and brown spots that looked like feces all over it. We also found a dirty hair pick and tweezer stuck to the matress. We were told they had no more pillows or blankets because it was a “full” weekend so we went to a local Walmart to buy him a blanket. We also killed 2 roaches in the bathroom- yuck. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. For $590 for 2 nights you have to be kidding me! The towels had old stains on them- absolutely disgusting! We will never stay here again!

They really like the people in the front when you check in the lady that is having a baby has the same name as my daughter and they are very friendly people and they are very kind and enjoyed my stay and the rooms are very clean

Love staying here but this trip it was a little disappointing, there was no internet and the pool was icy cold even though the temperature gage said it was 81… there was rust all over in our bathroom and we had light bulbs that needed replacing as they flickered constantly. Beds are super comfy and the breakfast is great quality

The staff was very friendly. The hot tub was very cold. Unable to use the hot tub it was so cold. The reason I booked this hotel was forbthe pool and hot tub. Broken drywall rust stains on the window sill. Bathroom door has water damage. Not stains but damage. TV remote not working. Lobby/ grounds very clean.

Needs a deep cleaning. Shower head in room 171 has black mold. Vent in bathroom is horribly loud and filthy. Beds were comfortable and clean.

I’ll Be Back!
Great hotel for the price. As is usual at hotels the hot tub was broken. Attention to detail would have made the stay better as I could have done without the moldy shower head. Beds were great, utilized the workout room and the breakfast was better than most. I’ll be back!

We had a great stay! We loved the separate area with the couch. The only thing was the pool was not heated at all.

Bad Hotel
I went with my daughter to the breakfast area and the lady that was working was very rude and disrespectful with me and my daughter she made me move so she can set part of the breakfast but was with very bad. I Asked her why she was doing that and she said she was tired of working alone. Also the cleaning was very bad they just put the blanket in the bed and new towels but they never clean the room. This is the first time i stay in a holiday inn that have this bad services.

Not a very nice hotel
This hotel is old and outdated. It was sloppy, unfinished craftsmanship and unlike most holiday inn expresses I stay at.

I had to switch rooms do to tv not working than go to another room n frig didnt work an that tv didnt work . I didnt recieve my points cuz i didnt know that cuz i did the booking online it didnt get countwd toward my rewards . When trying to call to make reservations i called 23 times n have the proof n showed the lady when checking in that the phone rang 4 or 5 times than hung up everytime . .

Hotel was conveniently located to Kings Dominion. A few things could definitely use some attention. The carpet in the room was definitely in need of replacing as it was showing signs of wear around the perimeter of the room. More outlets/ upgrades to outlets are definitely needed. Beds were comfortable and the free breakfast was decent.
