The breakfast was nice and the staff friendly and helpful. The facility is large with very long corridors and no elevator from what we could tell. A bit tired and strange/moldy smell in corridors.

Very disappointing
It might not look far from the station on the map, but it is quite a climb and the taxi cost £13. I was put in the room farthest from reception. Evening meal, the website showed a nice looking plate and as it was so far into town I decided to eat in. The menu was amazing, there was a choice of five or six different additions and dressings you could add to the only item on the menu, a hamburger. Having said that it was OK. Hotel web page mentions Fjord view. No.

This is more less a motel for a quick stay. We stayed one night, staff was great, plenty of parking, we had a family size room which was large but in need of a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was tasty.

Nice big room and comfortable. Presentation, variety and quality of breakfast was excellent. Chef and early morning reception was friendly and obliging. The only issue for us was the amount of dogs staying at the hotel and that one decided to bark and then growl at us.

OK hotel
Hotel was situated on ascent of mountain and had two supermarkets nearby. Parking was on site and free. The room was basic with no view available which was a shame. The beds were comfy and tea / coffee making was included. Breakfast was good with wide variety of hot and cold food. The tv was poor with limited channels and was extremely slow to respond. The toilet seat was loose and kept coming off hinges,it was repaired once but problem reoccurred.

Hotel is basic and a little dated but was very handy for the ski slopes and comfortable enough. Its a little out of the town and when snowy the walk downhill into town can be tricky. Buffet breakfast was good but not many evening meal options from what we saw.

Everything was perfect
Nice hotel and excellent breakfast that corresponding to a 5star hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable with also comfortable bed. Free coffee and tea all the time. Highly recommended.

Great stay in Narvik
We loved Hotel Thon. The room was comfy and the tea, coffee and hot chocolate on tap was just wonderful for weary travellers. The staff were very helpful with the local area and the breakfast delicious.

Reasonably priced hotel on the hillside
Parts of the hotel are currently undergoing renovation. Beware! I was woken up by drilling and hammering noise at 7:30 am. Saw wonderful Northern Lights In this city. See photos.

Great Hotel for the Money
Great hotel for extended stays or if you are on a budget. Close to the ski mountain.. A bit on the "industrial" side. Breakfast buffets, awesome..Have stayed at the hotel 3 times previously. Good value for the money... Staff is super!

Good location: minutes from highway and train station, easy to find. Great breakfast: lots of variety, fresh options. I've stayed in dozens of hotels with free breakfast, this is among the best Helpful staff: friendly, and they had answers for everything

Hotel staff very accommodating
We stayed only one night in this hotel but I would certainly stay there again. The hotel staff were very accommodating. We were leaving very early (4:00 am) to catch a flight and they arranged to have a bagged breakfast for us. The hotel restaurant provides tasty meals. The hotel is very clean. It's a little older but kept up well.

Albeit the hotel is older it was a lovely stay. The walk from the train station is no joke...it's all up hill! Service was great and room was big and comfortable. Bare in mind this is a three star property and definitely not four stars!

Nice afternoon tea
Nice afternoon was the highlight of this stay. Our room faced the west so it was very warm even into the night. The staff was very friendly, and we especially enjoyed talking to the cleaning lady from Thailand.

Economical place to stay in Narvik
Solo traveller. Hotel is more like a ski lodge than a regular hotel. However it is comfortable and good value for money. Service was very good. Would be a good base for skiing as it is very close to a ski lift.

The hotel was nice, no elevator to haul luggage down to our room. Nice neighborhood & close to the slopes if you're skiing.

Great ski in ski out!
We were pleasantly surprised at the size of this room and the fantastic location to the ski resort. The eating area has Windows everywhere and is very relaxing to be there. The grocery store is a stone throws away, which made buying beer easy. It is up a pretty good sized hill, so if taking the bus, be prepared to walk up the hill with all your gear! It was well worth the hike up with our stuff the first day as we didn't have to do it again and watched people daily lug up their gear to just ski.
