Room size is okay, location around the hotel is good and walkable to Fira. The bus stop is near the hotel. Staff is polite and helpful. Bathrooms are outdated and small, no water pressure, which was frustrating. Pool was not clean.

Reception is very kind and friendly. Room is very comfortable. However, the only disappointing thing was that the breakfast time was very limited and the breakfast area was small, so it was not possible to have breakfast when there were many guests.

Ac was difficult to figure out and it was noisy as well as the bathroom fan. Shower is pretty iffy. Breakfast was so so.

Staff was outstanding. Room was marginal, although clean. Furniture very dated - shower inadequate. Pool was closed temporarily. Breakfast good.

Crap place
Not a practical place tp stay the lady on the fromt desk was very rude to speak to. Pls dont go by the pictures. As they are deceiving. I would not recommend this hotel for a family. The showers are so small that you cannot take a shower well enought .

Overall was quite nice, friendly desk and clean room. I stayed 2 nights. It is bit far from city but still cheaper than others.

Nice place
Perfect place. The hotel is well located. Near the city center (10 minutes by walk), and the bus station is across the street. The staff is ready ro help you.

The pool was lovely. Location was quiet but this could be interrupted by people coming home noisily at night. The shower was also a bit tricky to use without flooding the bathroom.

Loved this place! Bus stop to everything was right there and it is centrally located. Staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and happy all the time. Even though check out time is 11:00 am, my flight wasn't until almost midnight and they let me hang out there all day and use their amenities. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. The room was quite spacious and very clean. The pool was relaxing and also very clean. If I go back, I would definitely stay there again!

La nostra stanza di albergo era molto grande con un bagno e balcone spaziosi. Gli asciugamani sono stati cambiati ogni giorno. Unica nota di demerito riguarda il bagno della nostra stanza. La doccia era un po stretta e scomoda visto che aveva la tendina quindi è stato inevitabile bagnare per terra ad ogni utilizzo Si era anche rotto il telefono della doccia ma è stato prontamente sostituito in giornata. La piscina è pulita e ben attrezzata. La colazione è essenziale (dolce/salato) senza troppe pretese e la cameriera gentile e sempre disponibile come tutto il personale dell'hotel .Consigliato!

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questo hotel accogliente, pulito e in una buona posizione per raggiungere il centro di Fira (anche a piedi). Buona anche la colazione, con varia dscelta sia di dolce che di salato. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Ein sehr freundliches, sauberes Hotel. Gutes Frühstück, sehr zentral mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Wir haben unsere Reise dort begonnen ( 2 Nächte ) und haben für weitere 2 Nächte ,am Ende unserer Reise ,wieder gebucht. Wir können es sehr empfehlen. Preis Leistngsverhältnis sehr gut!!!! Well-placed and well-priced
A well-located central spot with bus stop outside to access all parts of santorini within 30 mins. Pool is great and local restaurants/supermarket/coffee shops nearby. Staff are generally professional and able to offer help and advice.

Good hotel outside Fira
Nice place, the bus station is just outside the hotel where you can go to Fira and different beaches (kamari, perissa etc.). About 10-15 min walk to Fira. Rooms are good, service as well. The breakfast was simple but good.

Great location (1km) from Fira (centre) although bakery and supermarket across the road. Great pool and environment to relax in.

its like hostel
the location is very nice like 2mins drive from fira and 30mins drive to oia.But the hotel I think expedia charge us to much as the hotel is nice in reception and friendly staff but the hotel itself is im not happy for the amount I pay the shower curtain sticking to my skin when We shower.And although they give me big room because I have child.But still Im not satisfied the blanket maybe its been there ages.Everynight we have itching skin after we use the bed.And the swimming pool which is my daughter is excited with is closed maybe they give me notice that during this season they close the swimming pool.I think they open that on summer.overall i give maybe 2.5/5.

Nice, clean friendly hotel. Centrally located on the island. Fira is about a 10-15 minute walk, however, a bike/atv rental place is right across the street.

Great budget stay in Santirini
We selected the albatros for the price and central location. It was great for a budget stay, breakfast was small and not many options but was all we needed. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable enough for a few days.

Hotel comodo a buon prezzo
Io e la mia fidanzata cercavamo un hotel a buon prezzo vicino al centro di Fira e abbiamo scelto Hotel Albatros a Karterados proprio perchè si può tranquillamente raggiungere il centro a piedi in 10 min seguendo una strada principale illuminata anche di notte da negozi e locali. Di fronte all'hotel si trova subito un noleggio scooter-quad oppure per chi si vuol sposare con mezzi pubblici c'è la fermata autobus che porta in tutte le direzioni dell'isola. Il personale è sempre stato cordiale e utile ad ogni richiesta di informazioni, la camera era piuttosto piccola ma c'era tutto il necessario pulito ed in ordine.

Posizione comoda e ottima piscina
Quest'hotel è in una posizione molto comoda perché vicino al centro di Thira, raggiungibile in qualche minuto con un mezzo e anche all'aeroporto. Buona pulizia effettuata costantemente come il cambio di asciugamani. Trovo gradevole il fatto che ci sia il condizionatore in camera e il frigorifero. Bello il terrazzino dal quale è possibile accedere alla piscina, altrettanto gradevole e rilassante, con tutti i confort. Tuttavia ho trovato fastidiosa la tendina del bagno in quanto si appiccicava addosso e faceva trapassare l'acqua. Anche il materasso era molto scomodo. Inoltre l'hotel offre una colazione troppo scarsa e mai variata. Per quanto riguarda l'accoglienza devo dire che è stata gradevole anche se mi sarei aspettata qualche informazione sull'isola ed inoltre era gradita la conoscenza dell'italiano. Tuttavia Il personale durante il soggiorno è stato abbastanza cortese e disponibile. Infine un'ultima lamentela ma non per questo meno importante: I PROPRIETARI DELL' HOTEL ERANO ALQUANTO IRRISPETTOSI NEI CONFRONTI DI UN CAGNOLINO DI LORO PROPRIETà CHE ERA LASCIATO COSTANTEMENTE, E ANCHE NELLE ORE Più CALDE,FUORI DALL'HOTEL IN UNA SOTTOSPECIE DI CUCCIA CON PANE SECCO E ACQUA SPORCA. QUESTA NON è DI CERTO UNA BUONA IMMAGINE PER I CLIENTI DELL'ALBERGO, OLTRE CHE ESSERE OVVIAMENTE UN DANNO PER IL PICCOLO ANIMALETTO CHE SI OSTINAVA AD ABBAIARE SENZA CHE NESSUNO SI CURASSE DI LUI.

Nice hotel close to Fira
Good service, kind staff, and convenient location. I was able to store my luggage in the hotel after I checked out but before I left the island. The hotel is also close to the bus stop which is convenient.
