Wonderful stay at this well-located property. Walking distance to everything you need. Nice staff, great breakfast, clean and attractive grounds. A very good value!

Our room faced Foam Street. I specifically asked for a quite room and was told the traffic was gone after 7 pm. Not true, cars went by up until 12:00 AM. The morning was the worst. I could hear every car that went by from 4:00 AM, when the garbage trucks started and I could not sleep! Exhausting trip.

It’s an older but very nice property. 2nd time staying here. We love the location. They have a nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly.

Cute little bed and breakfast. Large rooms with fireplaces and reasonably priced. Excellent breakfast and wonderful staff. The wine and cheese hour was also nice. It’s located on a busy one-way street but it was very quiet at night. The location is great and close to all things Cannery Row, Fisherman’s Wharf and even downtown Monterey. Easy check-in and check-out and a late check-put time too. Last night we had to bring our dog and that was eight $30 add-on. My only complaint is that the maid went into our room twice with our “do not disturb” sign on. I had my lunch in there and she tossed it because she assumed we had checked out. Highly recommend!

Perfect base to explore the Monterey Peninsula. The aquarium and restaurants and shops along Fisherman’s wharf within an easy walk. Attached parking garage very convenient. Room very spacious and comfortable with gas fireplace and a little balcony. Breakfast choices were excellent and staff friendly and helpful

The service was wonderful and the rooms/bed were comfy and clean. It was in a very convenient location as well which made it easy to walk around!

Much needed updating - the picture shows an nice Victorian home but actually you stay next door in a motel like giant facility that is not clean and rundown

We had such a nice stay here,,, I love the breakfasts and afternoon wine and cheese. And, the rooms are roomy with a big fireplace and the fire makes it so cozy, just loved it … Not to mention the convenient parking and just a block from Cannery Row… Great Place to stay.

The room I had overlooked the Main Street and was very very noisy. Windows are very old and has absolutely no sound proofing. The place was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was decent. I would have enjoyed my stay if not for the noise.

My friend and I went there for our birthdays and we were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place was. Beautiful room, wonderful staff, great location, easy parking, good breakfast and happy hour. You'll be extremely happy here.

Nice centrally located property within walk to wharf and cannery row. Parking $17/day I believe. Parking is unsecured but plenty room. Hot breakfast in small dining area. Basic wine and cheese nightly at 5pm. Pet friendly. No air conditioning but they did offer a tower fan. I stayed in room 126 bottom floor. No spare blankets in room but I’m sure you can ask for them if needed. Comfortable king bed and pillows. Mini fridge. No microwave. Gas fireplace. Slider patio door with screen and two chairs. Door with security bar. Could not hear any of the kids or pets that stayed. Overall nice stay. Only note is you are not staying in the Victorian home. That’s where you check in and eat. Rooms are in other adjacent buildings. Would stay again.

Wonderful room with fireplace and terrace! Only hotel we’ve been to with 2 chairs! We can both sit and relax. Beautiful area, convenient. Only negative was that all 4 pillows were too thick for us.

We stay at Victorian Inn one or two times a year because it's convenient and peaceful. The morning breakfast is high quality and always fresh.

I didn’t like the service .we were given a room next to the office very noisy. We requested to be moved . We followed the instructions on requesting to clean our room. When we came back from dinner to my dismay the room was not clean! The housekeeper never went into our room it was late in the evening so requested clean towels, toilet paper.i had to take garbage out. Very expensive for deposit and parking.

This was a most comfortable, relaxing weekend stay for us. We had a spacious room with two comfy chairs and a fireplace, and it was a perfect space to read a book or watch television. The breakfasts were yummy (mini omelets were the bomb!), and the happy hour with wine was a great time to unwind from the day. The staff is friendly and warm and were delighted to help us out any way they could. This is within easy walking distance of Cannery Row, and we were able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and of course, the Aquarium and the ocean. This was a fabulous de-stressing weekend, and the rain didn't do anything to dampen things for us. If you're on the fence, please choose YES to the Victorian Inn!

We've stayed at the Victorian Inn for a number of years for the above reasons and it's just as comfortable hotel to enjoy a laid back vacation. The hotels free breakfast is absolutely outstanding.

A very nice experience - large rooms, very friendly staff and nicely appointed decor. Would recommend bringing your own, thinner pillows if you are a side sleeper. All in all, a great experience.
