Nice room rates, friendly staff, comfortable bed!
I selected here because of close to Timberline Ski Resort during last ski season. In peak season it needs to book ahead of a month. Room was small, but super friendly staff and comfortable bed, clean room. Best one is good room rates if booking available in Canaan Valley. Recommend strongly!

I loved almost everything about this place. The only things I could complain about is the cleanliness of the rooms,and the non sound proof rooms...you can hear EVERYTHING..I had to buy earplugs. Other than that,cute place and very well decorated for holidays.

We arrived late at night and the reception employee was friendly and nice. The facility seems very clean and new. The only improvement I would suggest was improving the continental breakfast. Milk was the only protein I could find. It was a quick stay, but I would definitely come again.

I assure you our Pet Policy is to protect your pet in the event of an emergency, therefore unfortunately pets cannot be left unattended as it states on the sign upon check in, on the registration card you signed as well as the Pet Agreement.

Great boutique of a hotel. It was decorated so festive for the holidays. Staff is excellent and my room and kitchen area very clean. Will be back. So happy with my stay!

Renovated, nice and clean rooms and close to Timberline slopes. Polite staff. Thin walls and some noise coming from the other rooms. Very basic breakfast.

Walls and doors are thin which means you hear everything including the staff talking at the front desk and your neighbor's TV. No full length mirror. Impossible to plug in my cell charger near the bed as the outlets didn't work and it was filthy behind the night stand.

Another overnight stay.
We came to West Virginia to attend an uncle's funeral. The Inn personnel was very friendly and accommodating. They provided vegetable soup with chips and salsa in the evening and a good breakfast in the morning. The bed and room were quite comfortable and we rested well. The only thing that was a bit unhandy was no good place to sit to eat. The sofa in front of the fireplace was nice but a little unhandy to sit on to eat. I would think that the space could easily be put to better use by having a couple small tables and a few chairs. The seasonal decorations also took up space where there could be tables and chairs. Even three or four small tables with appropriate chairs would be better than none. Our room had a table with only one chair so that wasn't any easier for two older people who have a difficult time handling multiple items. We stayed at The Inn in May and voiced our same concerns in person.

This property is one of the few in the area to choose from. However, it is nicely maintained and very comfortable. The walls are a bit thin and the noise carries, but that is our only complaint. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful!!

Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The miniature golf course was fun, and the picnic area was very attractive. An easy, restful place to stop, and good "sleeping weather."

I love the remodeled property, it was decorated very cute for the holiday. The room needs a little color, a few pictures on the wall would be helpful. The heating/cooling unit fan is very loud, people upstairs were heavy footed and lots of night noises in the hallway. Breakfast was pretty good and very nicely laid out. Outside landscaping looks great! Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Would definately stay again.

Hotel was really clean, friendly staff, pet friendly,very comfortable bed, nice walk-in shower, and good variety complimentary breakfast. I didn’t like having to $100 Non refundable pet fee for only staying one night. Seemed a little excessive to me.

We loved our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - especially after I made a call to verify our reservation. If you want a quiet getaway in Canaan Valley without staying in a cabin in the woods…this is it! It was wonderful! Thanks for keeping bottles of water in our room and for loaning me a bottle opener!
