Room was recently updated. Very old building. When I got there I had to wait 20!minutes in my truck to wait for a worker to drive to the office to get me a key to my room. The next morning I went to check out and again nobody was there . Very strange that the entire stay nobody was in the office?

We had to many grasshopper inside the room and also a sealing leaking on room we needed to change the original room.

Our expectations were low due to the price and some other reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised and this more than met our needs when looking for a last-minute, dog friendly stay. Clean and spacious, great location.

The resort is dirty. There was a strange smell in the room. The air conditioner was very noisy. The room is different from the photos. When the door was opened, many flies flew into the room. Flying around, we couldn't sleep at night. The service of the resort staff is very good. Ask the staff if you can reduce the one-night stay and refund the money. At that time, it was ok. After the trip, I called the resort to ask how to refund the money. The staff said that the money was not refunded. This resort is a black shop

The bathroom was really small and the shower got the entire room wet. We also had a towel that smelled musty. We also had a problem with the door. You had to play with it (for a while) to get it to lock. We did advise the front desk when we checked out.. it’s definitely something that needs to be fixed.

My room was disgusting. The floor was so dirty i kept my sandles on everywhere i walked otherwise my feet were black on the bottom. The kitchen sink was dirty. The top two sheets on the bed had numerous dirty spots. The coffee maker was dirty . I literally cleaned our room with what i had with me as best as i could. Definitely do not recommend and the guy at the desk was very unfriendly. I will not be going back.

This place is disgusting! The owner CLEM is disgusting just like his fake fraudulent business! I was placed in a dirty hazardous room that had fresh blood, urine and crumbs on the bed and when I informed Clem of the matter he became belligerent with me. I asked for some type of compensation due to the inconvenience and he laughed at me and refused. I informed him that I would be writing reviews and providing photos to warn others and he bribed me with 50$ to not say anything!! what a joke! 😂 What goes around comes around 🙂

Rooms look bigger and cleaner in pictures. Room smelled like sewage terrible. We asked for a refund the day of stay but unfortunately had to loose $300 because that was the deposit.

We rented 3 rooms for a family vacation and my adult children loved that their children were able to play without a lot of traffic. The pool and lake were short distances away from our rooms and the rooms were exactly what the pictures showed. We were glad that we had read all the room amenities as we planned on cooking most of our meals, but guest services had what we needed to finishing prepping our meals. Stores and attractions were just minutes away, but we enjoyed the family time at the property, we even tried paddleboarding for the first time. Only negative was we felt the price to rent the pontoon was expensive, so we did not rent one but we did not check other businesses to price compare either, so it may have been a normal price. We all(6 adults, 3 teens, 2 preteens) said would stay again.

Was very impressed with our stay at Delton Oaks! From the updated rooms to the sand beach we had a very pleasant experience. It was never overly crowded and easy to maneuver. On Thursday night they had live music, adult beverages, and ice cream. The staff was also very attentive to any questions or needs we had. Isabelle was always on top of any questions we had and would assist us with any room needs immediately. The owner Michelle was also there to assist with any needs or questions and very friendly! Overall this was a great place to stay and we will definitely recommend to others!

NOT A CABIN
The only reason I booked was because the description said cabin. The photos looked like cabin. I wanted my grandkids to experience a cabin. This was a 1 bedroom motel room. Very disappointed.

The room was not vacuumed and there was trash in the garbage. It was extremely loud, people had music blaring all evening and night. Not at all a relaxing place as it appeared to be on Expedia.

Nice Little place
Room was great. Nicely updated and very clean. They were one of few places that allow dogs. The fee for which was reasonable, in my opinion. I loved being about to rent the boat. Very fun. It was close enough to things so that they are easy to get to. Yet far enough away that things didn't seem crowed, even on a long holiday weekend. Nice little place.

Owners were wonderful. The room was updated and very clean. They had live music which was amazing. The pool and beach were fun. Definitely family friendly.

Great hotel! We stayed here (family of 4) for 3 nights. Close to the tourist attractions and gorgeous lake. We will definitely be back.

My family and I really enjoyed the lake, paddle boards, kayaks, fire pit, and pool. The hotel was newly renovated, cute, and super clean. The only thing that I was not happy about was the size of our room. We got a one-bedroom with a Q size bed, and a pull-out sofa in the living room, with a kitchenette. They advertised this to sleep 4 people which they should have advertised it as sleeping 2-3. The kitchen and living room were all in one room making it so you don't have a living room. The kitchen table in the living room only had 3 chairs and they only had one couch that sits 3 people. They also need to add more hooks and dressers for storage. I see that this place has potential but I think they're trying to advertise all of their places to sleep more people than it can.

Property didn’t seem to have a quiet time. Made it difficult with a 7 month old but was able to move rooms with out paying the difference. Overall good customer service.

False advertisement and very disappointed
The pictures of what you get are completly different. I paid for a resort and got a match box room with a TV. It was 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 small dogs. No private patio, no seating or table in room, no free water park passes, have to take your own garbage to dumpster, and sweep your own room if it gets sand in it before you check out, no place for your pets to roam and they are not allowed down to the beach, the parking lot was very small and the cars were jammed together. For the money you pay I was very disappointed. I would not recommend for a family vacation.

Kayaks, paddle boards were available for free use. Lake, pool, and fire rings available for all. Pontoon boat access as well. Rooms were clean, property was okay, a little run down. Hammering on the roof at 7:30 in the morning but stopped after requested.
