I have thought long and hard about this review as although hotel itself is fine there were so many negatives it is first of 50 plus hotels been to in recent years I would not go back to. First the positives, nice big hotel, good amenities, nice staff, particularly housekeeping. Good size room , balcony, bathroom with rainfall walk in shower.
Now the not so good news.
Whilst it is a reasonable distance from airport (5 minute drive) it is right at end of resort, right next to incoming flight path. Very noisy jets start around 07.00 and continue past 22.00 coming in at rooftop height. When I went to pool in morning at times they were coming in every couple of minutes.
Pool itself was a problem, hotel welcome pack advises cannot reserve chairs with towels etc. and that items would be removed, they were not. Every morning I was there it got worse with maybe 50% + 'reserved' before 09.00. I know multiple people complained including myself. I was just shown policy on welcome pack, when I explained I was happy with that but not that no enfoecement was done I got nowhere not even fobbed off with 'I will talk to manager' .
On arrival Hotels.com review I reported my AC was very noisy compared to 20 or so other hotels I have stayed in this year. Nothing happened, No tea/coffee making, in room a first for a 4 star. My current 3 star in Barcelona at least has signs at reception/lifts of items provided free upon request, including kettle, adapters etc. I got both quickly.
