Please, please do not refer folks to this motel. It was dirty, bugs present. Fridge and microwave were filthy. Door did not lock properly when leaving. Misrepresented on line. Did not approve a partial refund...even after checking out about 15 minutes once we checked in. Just God awful.....

Walked into the front lobby and left immeadiately! Felt very uncomfortable, didnt even want to see the rooms.

It should be condemned Bug & Roach infested.
Rooms are Roach, fly & Ant infested, All linens have Urine stains, room looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in months. Holes in the Carpet. When I complained I was threatened by one of the Staff Members This hotel should be condemned until it is Cleaned. No one speaks English, my landlord tried calling me to insure that I was SAFE and he kept getting told to call back or hung up on. I got locked in the bathroom because the door locks don't work, no TV Remote, no Ice I actually woke up to a Roach on the night stand, my dog is on antibiotics due to an ear infection and both her ears loaded with bug bites

We booked this place because not too far from Darlington and we were there to see the race. Check in was easy and staff pleasant.

Expensive for condition
The appearance of the hotel is old and worn down. We had roaches crawling on the wall and in the bed. For a $100 a night it was way too much. Will never stay here again.

Really dirty
The carpet was so dirty I was afraid to take off my shoes. Bugs where on the drawers and the atmosphere was stinking to some weird product to hid smells. Terrible place

Currently being renovated
The hotel was in the process of being renovated (in August 2017.) Every wing has a mix of habitable and torn-down rooms. Our room had an unclean floor, rusty bathroom fittings, bath water that ran rusty before it cleared. The beds, covers and towels were clean. The staff was friendly during check-in.

Room was dirty and the phone and TV weren't working. Had to be moved to another room that wamore cleaner and the guy had to fix the TV in order for it to work.

My wife and I have stayed in one star rated hotels before. This one was by far the worst. The room was filthy, stunk of cigarettes even though it claimed to be non smoking. The bed had paint spots and cigarette burns on the cover. My wife literally could not stay there, we checked out minutes after checking in and got a new hotel.

Tourist Trap
This place has nothing to offer. Rooms are dingy and smell like stale smoke. Pool looks like is hasn't been open in years (closed for my visit) No breakfast, as advertised, apparently the restaurant "lost its license"(closed for my visit). Water in my room was barely warm after running for 10 minutes (serious concern for bacteria), and the smoke detector in my room was disabled. Raised these issues to staff with no result. STAY CLEAR!!

The rooms were filthy and roach infested. There wasn't any water in the pool. No room service. No free breakfast that was advertised. Not even coffee was offered. One small garbage in room that was overflowing for 3 days. No clean towels daily. This motel was be far the worst experience I've ever had.

After checking in late in evening, driving around the motel & taking a look at the room, I turned my key in & left. Asked that my deal be refunded but was refused.

Advertised as having breakfast. They do not because they are looking for a cook. My wife found a one inch beetle in the bathroom upon arriving. Told her to flush it down the toilet. MY comforter and my wife's had 2-3 cigarette burns in them. I took pictures, also this was a no smoking room. Never again.

Wifi was good and tv was ok. I'm not sure the sheets had been changed recently. I wouldn't walk on the floor barefoot. They don't seem to have a vacuum cleaner. When I checked out at 8:00 in the morning I think I woke someone up while pulling on the lobby door.

Would not stay
Booked hotel for nascar race at darlington. On the drive in, it was obvious the lawn hadn't been cut in some time. It looked abandoned. When we checked in, the lobby appeared to not have been cleaned in some time. When checking in I had to tell the staff what my rate was since they didn't know... Once we got to the room, it smelled like it had been "cleaned" with air freshener and little else. Bathroom toilet had not been cleaned and there was hair on the bathroom floor. The room was in such bad shape we decided to drive 2.5 hours at 1 am to avoid staying there.

Nice hotel/location
Our room was nicely cleaned. The front desk staff were excellent, friendly and able to answer all my questions. The microwave was missing from my room and once I informed the front desk they quickly put one in.

This is only a one star hotel
This hotel is very old.....in dire need of restoration.....when we arrived at 4pm it looked deserted and stayed that way. The bathroom was clean which made it workable. I felt skived by the old furniture...we were the only people at breakfast....dinning room seemed closed....when we left in the morning there were 3 other cars in the lot. I would not have stayed if we hadn't prepaid the room. The bathrooms had obviously been updated many years ago which is probably why they rate this 2 1/2 stars. This is not a fare rating when you look at the over all facility.

Hotel location very accessible
Arrived at hotel on a very rainy night, so the access to 95 was very pleasing. However our first night the room was not as expected a roach was killed in the room and when I was telling the front desk the only reply I got was that they could move me to another room, with it being late and raining that was not an option, I had just driven 2.5 hours. The ice bucket had to be washed prior to using it. I also complained the next morning and was told any refund had to come thur Expedia. I wasn't seeking refund, but no compensation was offered. Upon my return two days later the room was very acceptable clean and no bugs.

Don't stay here
This hotel room was absolutely filthy. There was a dead bug on the bathroom floor, the linens were dirty, the water was rusty and the shower wall had black scum on it. When I went to complain about the condition of the room, the front desk told me "that's odd because room 150, is usually one of our better rooms". I would not recommend this hotel nor will I ever stay here again.

This place sucks
Stay away! Once I entered the lobby I was greeted by the rudest hotel clerk I have met. I received no greeting and was asked for my name and a credit card. The lobby smelled horrible and upon leaving the lobby had the privilege of seeing a prostitute arguing with a guy over the price. The room had a hole in the carpet and I had to listen to the people next to me having sex through the thin walls. The shower had pubic hairs on the wall. This place is a train wreck .

Poor Attitude night time clerk
I had reserved the room for my daughter and son-in-law. They were on their way home to Florida. I reserved it for the 8th checking in and checking out the 9th. Car problems and bad weather caused them to get to hotel at 6am the morning of the 9th. The desk clerk was at a computer, Until another employee told him my daughter was standing there, he ignore her. His attitute was not friendly, like my daughter was interrupting him. They checked in, my daughter ask if they could check out at 12 instead of 11. He informed her he could not help her to call house keeping at 7:30. She said they were exhausted and were going to bed. He said he could not help to call house keeping. They got up at 10, saw H.K., who told them no problem. Thank God you employ some friendly, thoughtful people. I stay at your hotel a couple times a year. Needless to say I was upset this happen, as I always recommend this Ramada to people traveling.

Enjoyed walking to the Magnolia Dining Room
This was our second stay at Ramada in the past three weeks. It is so convenient to have the Magnolia Dining Room right next to the office and it saved us from having to drive out for dinner. We both enjoyed the spaghetti and the homemade desserts were really good! Look forward to staying there again next time we go to Florence, SC

Pet friendly!
The staff was lovely and welcoming. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The WiFi was not working (free WiFi was one of the reasons I selected this motel). The television was old and there were no premium channels. We have 3 small dogs and the motel was pet friendly so we can overlook almost anything!

Right off 95 - good for one night stay/sleep.
It wasnt too bad. Stood overnight to get some sleep while in a road trip. The service over the phone- sucks!(late night shift) Not very polite. Yet the morning front desk lady was cery nice and helpful. Room was clean.

Stop on way to U. of South Carolina in Columbia
Husband booked the hotel after we had left. Took a gamble by buying and paying nonrefundable without knowing the hotel. Rooms were clean and continental breakfast passable. Would consider it a good value for the price.

Just an OK stay...
The price was great, so I can't complain much. The hotel lobby smelled. They do offer a rather generous complimentary breakfast. The rooms are okay. There was one gas station across the street from the hotel that was never open. Other than that, it sits in the middle of an RV park. I probably wouldn't stay again, but as I said, for what we paid it was totally worth the subpar surroundings.

You get what you pay for....
The price originally attracted me to this hotel, it is convenient to I-95 (less than 2 minutes from exit). The room was clean. The beds were ok - definitely not the most comfortable hotel beds, the box springs on both beds in our room were broken. I did not take advantage of the free breakfast but the check-in staff did give me two tickets and advise me that we would have to have those tickets to partake - mind you there were 2 of us for 2 nights. Apparently my hot rate only covered breakfast one day. The cleaning staff was exceedingly rude. We were still in our room (after night #1) when they made their 1st morning rounds (8 am). I asked for extra towels that evening - we were moving my daughter in to her dorm room and I knew we would want to shower before we went to dinner and again before bed. She told me in no uncertain terms they did not give extra towels. So okay, I understand, people run off with your towels, no biggie.... Can I take the dirty ones to the lobby to exchange them this evening? Absolutely not. You only get 2 towels per day. Period. I was pretty disappointed - towels shouldn't be that big of a deal. But, you get what you pay for. All in all it was an ok hotel with a decent rate for our two night stay. I'm not so sure I'd stay again though....

I would have liked a shower
The most awful part - the water was with no exaggeration the colour of blood. Obviously I'm assuming it was old copper piping, but needless to say, no one was getting in that shower. I would have appreciated a room that is stayed in more often where the water is run regularly. I did apprecaite it was pet friendly. but that is becoming a regular ammenity now, so it wasn't an outstanding featue. The gentleman who greeted us at check in was not friendly and had no clue if anything was open. However, we had a very nice womanw hen we checked out.
