During breakfast Friday morning, the breakfast attendant made sure to remind me more than once NOT to fill up my environmentally friendly reusable travel mug. He stated it was against the rules and the coffee machine was labeled likewise.
Instead they choose to use the styrofoam coffee cups with ill fitting plastic lids.
Why I ask would they use styrofoam cups which are very environmentally UNFRIENDLY.
A foam coffee cup can take up to 500 years to decompose, leaching harmful chemicals as it does. Like all plastics, the biggest concern with foam is that it persists in our environment for a very long time.
Just don’t understand. That’s like saying I can’t use the water fountain to fill up my reusable water bottle.
