Inang is a wonderful place to use as a base to explore the villages around Ubud. We were made to feel so welcome, staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. It was my daughter's birthday while we were there, and she was made to feel very special - thank you so much to Putu and all the staff for a really memorable time. We look forward to coming back!

This was our first trip to Ubud and chose Inang Ubud based on reviews left by other visitors - so glad we did! We were so pleased to be in this beautiful, well run place - the staff are wonderful, all very friendly. We really appreciated the lovely breakfasts and had all our evening meals at Inang. The shuttle into Ubud was great, and we felt very safe. Thank you for a wonderful time - we will be definitely be back.

Wonderful Gem Outside of Downtown Ubud
We really liked staying in the 2 bedroom villa. The staff were all friendly, they provide a free round trip ride to and from the hotel to Ubud Palace, a gorgeous pool, and beautiful views of the rice fields. I highly recommend staying in the 2 bedroom villa- it was such a great value. The villa is about a 15 minute drive from downtown Ubud, making the villa in a peaceful location. The only downside is the roosters at the surrounding property are up around 5 in the morning, so that could wake you up.

The villa is amazing! We had a great time there! Putu and his wife Kadek were very pleasant and kind. They responded to any questions immediately. One day we took a private 8hours tour by car with Putu at very rrasonable price if you are sharing between 4 pax. We showed him places we wanted to visit and next morning we left for our adventure. We were lucky to get the room with a small kitchen (3rd room next to pool) and big fridge. Room is very big and spacious, good housekeeping, clean, with one big wardrobe,safe box, several tables in the room and two nice soft chairs. Bathroom had shower and bath tab. And AC was very powerful,whic is super important in this heat. Breakfast was included in price & was delisious, though a little small. 4 different choices to choose from & if you want to combine,lets say, omelete with pancacke you need to pay extra. All eggs were coming with 3 small pieces of bread and if you need extra,its at charge. Honestly i dont know whats the big deal with bread in Bali,but everywhere we ate in Ubud,only few pieces were given with every dish. Even though the bread is cheap here.... little note-shower pressure was quite low and shower head is too high. Was a bit hard for me to wash my hair as im short but luckily there was a bath tub. Bring flip flops as after the shower the floor is very wet and dangerous. Pool was gorgeous and very clean. We were served comp. noon tea Every day. Very pleasnat time,we wud stay more but they were fully booked.

Best experience I’ve ever had. From the location, minutes away from the crowded Ubud, to the free transportation, the food was amazing and only for $4usd. Property looks terrific and the staff more importantly is fantastic!

Kadek and Putu and their staff have a fantastic property. We stayed in the family suite and it is stunning. The food here was excellent. The pool is clean and good size and great for a swim. We used the car service and massage and everything was fantastic. I would recommend everyone stay here you will be very happy.

Amazing place to stay in Ubud! Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food is very fresh. A free massage is offered. Pool is very nice. A free shuttle service is available to Ubud centre. Staff are great for organising activities. The rooms are very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place!

This was one of the best places me and my partner have ever stayed in. They are very generous and wonderful people. We loved the food! Especially hand cut chips and satey! Also chicken soup was delicious! And I loved that they also have healthy options on the menu, like fresh smoothies and juices. They also offer a free massage if you stay there for longer than two nights, which was amazing. And it was so lovely of them to prepare us breakfast to take away as we had to leave at 5 am! They made sure we got up! How amazing is that?! It's almost too good to be true!

Close to Ubud but out of the bustle
Nice haven outside the bustle of Ubud yet close enough to enjoy it. Very friendly, family run resort. We appreciated the small things, like a delicious welcome drink, chocolate at supper time, really cute towel and flower art and staff flexibility around making breakfast for our early departure. Good wifi. Basic bathroom. Comfortable bed.

Inang Villa Ubud get the warmest recommendations
Our stay at Inang Villa in Ubud was extremely important to our one-month travel experience of Bali in February 2019. This hotel represents the best of Bali - a warm, smiling and friendly attitude . At Inang Villa you feel more friend and family than "just another hotel guest". The standards of quality and level of service are very high - you get an honest and genuine high quality hotel experience here. He had breakfast included - it was a daily selection after own choice, and quality was high. Options for lunch and dinner quite OK too - but often guests will use the free shuttle (your request) to Ubud 15 minutes away. Afternoon tea emphasize the standard.... Swimming pool and massage service - motorbike for rent and a funny way to see the neighborhood. This hotel will build one-day tours for you based on your preferences. Cheap and a super experience. Bali is an extremely wonderful destination. Inang Villa Ubud makes the experience even bigger.

I am hesitant to write this review, only because this is Ubud's best kept secret! And I may be being a bit selfish! My trip would not have been the same without staying at Inang Villa for 4 nights. 1) This is a family owned hotel that is dedicated to their customers. It is owned by Puta and Kadek, who are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I felt truly safe and taken care of at all times, like part of a community. 2) They give you a cell phone which you can use to call the shuttle for pick up and drop off to city center (right in front of the palace). It is super easy and convenient. The drive is a scenic one about 15 min from the city center. I was at first nervous about staying outside of Ubud, but SO glad I did. 3) Breakfast is amazing. Banana pancakes were delicious! They even offer free teatime with banana fritters that they will serve to your room. 4) Bed is very comfortable- they even gave me a free upgrade due to double booking which was extremely sweet of them! 5) Book tours with them. I went to the holy water temple with Kadek and getting information and stories from a local is way better than just going on your own. They will recommend you tours and their prices are also very very reasonable. 6) The views of the rice field are amazing. They also have a beautiful pool you can just lounge at- and it does not get crowded which is nice. Some mornings I just lounged at the pool and felt as such peace. I do not have any negative comments- 5 stars from me all the way

We really wanted a place to get away from everything and just relax. Inang Villas was absolutely beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, spacious & I suggest you get a pool view room. The staff are so friendly & will always help. The owners Kadek & Putu are so lovely. There is a free shuttle in & out of Ubud, they give you a mobile to call them for pick up. You can also get a massage, highly recommended. We will definitely stay again!

Tranquil villa with the most attentive staff
As soon as we arrived at the villa we were treated with the upmost respect. Everything was explained regarding how the villa ran, breakfast included, free 30 min massage, free (unlimited) transfers to and from Ubud centre with mobile phone provided for ease of contact. The villa is family run and the staff make you feel like a part of their family by getting to know you. The hotel organised us two day trips, one seeing the highlights of Ubud including a coffee plantation, rice terrace and Ubud temple. The next, a day river rafting, both absolutely incredible! The villa is a 20 min drive from Ubud centre amongst rice paddy fields making it very tranquil, however, it is easily accessible due to the unlimited transfers. Overall, I could not recommend this place enough to anyone. If any of my family/friends are going to Bali in the future then the villa would be the place I would recommend. Also, make sure you have the banana pancake for breakfast!!!

One of the best stays I've ever had.
I've been to over 30 countries and had multiple stays of all types in my life. This ranks among the top 3 ever and could very well be the #1. And keep in mind that Bali has some of the most competitive hospitality environments. I was probably like you reading this stressing out about the options and the stories and I can assure to you that you can confidently book Inang. Some people say that Bali is losing its appeal but the hospitality that put Bali on the map remains still very alive in this part of Ubud. I stayed with my partner during the Nyepi and you can really feel the peace of this part of the world. This stay alone made my whole trip worthwhile. I also stayed in Sanur and Kuta later and there is no comparison at all. All of the simple gestures and caring attitude of the staff made this stay absolutely magical. I am personally not a huge fan of Bali, but this place makes the visit worth it and makes me want to go back. I wouldn't bother looking for other places and hope to join Nyepi again next year. Breakfasts are beautifully executed and very fresh. Other meals are affordable and magical also. I usually prefer to go out to town (shuttle is free) but I enjoyed more the days I stayed in the Villa. Definitely worth every second. I caught myself and my partner constantly repeating the same thing: "The pictures really don't do justice to this place". Pure bliss.

I cannot recommend Inang Villa highly enough. Puto and Kadek radiate warmth and hospitality, and have a great eye for the small details. Food was delicious, peaceful and serene surroundings, great pool and massages. Very affordable! Was very sad to leave as this accommodation really made my Bali experience. Will be back!

Outstanding by all means - our Bali favorite!
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was by far the best accommodation throughout the 14 days we spent in Bali. All the staff is unbelievably friendly and it does not take more than one day to come to full rest at this marvelous place. Surrounded by rice fields, you wake up to a beautiful view, a little flower prayer waiting in front of the door steps, breakfast is made upon order. Or maybe you take a quick swim in the nice pool before that. Ketut and Putu are champions of hospitality (and so is the rest of the staff!) and after extending for an additional night, it was still hard to leave that place. We totally recommend Villa Inang if you are looking for the real Bali experience. The whole facility has something magical as you can feel the spirituality of it. The crazy tourism of Bali has luckily not arrived at Villa Inang. It's the perfect location to explore rice fields and local art. However, if you want to go to a show at central Ubud, the driver is there to take you and thanks to an old local cell phone that you are provided with free of charge, transport is reliable and does not come with roaming charges. The only thing to avoid in the area: Do not follow the recommendation to go to a restaurant called JB. Their signature dish is roasted and deep fried duck, but all you will get is bones and fried skin at well exaggerated rates. You will see entire bus loads with Chinese tourists to enter and then turn this place into a canteen.

Hospitality at its best!
I had a wonderful stay at the Inang Villas, thank you so much. The small hotel is beautiful and the staff extraordinary helpful and friendly. Although it is outside of Ubud (15 min drive) the provided shuttle service makes it very easy to go there and back. Lovely pool, good food, nice people...just perfect.

Quiet, relaxing villa in the Ubud area
We really enjoyed our stay here. If you're looking to stay in the Ubud area (central Bali), this is a great option. The staff were very friendly, helpful and cheerful. The owners live on the property and are kind, gracious people. They know how to do customer service right! The villa itself is small, but beautiful. There are only 8 rooms, which lends to a quiet and relaxing place to unwind after a long day touring in Bali. Breakfast was provided daily with our stay, and very affordable delicious hot meals are available to purchase for lunch or dinner. It has a small pool with a shallow and deep end, surrounded by lounging chairs and spouting statues. The staff will always make up your bed, and even tidy your room if you have gone out for the day. The villa is tucked away from Ubud, about a 10-15 minute drive away. However this was no problem as our stay included a free transfer to Ubud and back each day (they supply a cell phone you use to call the villa when you want to be picked up). They also had motorbikes available to rent for only 5000 IDR a day! This was an excellent convenience :) We highly recommend staying here!

Comfortable hotel set in the hills near Ubud.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks and on our late arrival 11:30pm we were Immediately greeted with a welcoming smile and drinks by the owners Kadek and Putu. Beautiful location just outside of Ubud set amongst the rice fields a true Bali experience. We were made to feel very relaxed and Kadek, Putu and the staff were so welcoming with little extra's such as free massage, free bottled drinking water, afternoon tea with nibbles. At times we felt like we were the only guests staying here, which was lovely. Free transport too and from the centre of Ubud whenever required. This warm environment continued right to the end of our stay with a lovely breakfast pack out on our early morning departure 7am. All in all a lovely relaxing and memorable holiday. Hope to get the chance to visit again in the not too distant future.

Staff were amazing. Went above and beyond when I was car sick (stopped in route from the airport to buy me water, stopped the car and made sure I was okay before continuing). Attentive to our questions and gave us wonderful tips about what to do in the area.

In der Inang Villa haben wir alles gefunden, was für uns einen schönen Urlaub ausmacht. Die Familie und das Personal waren alles sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Touren in Ubud und Umgebung wurden uns zu fairen Preisen angeboten. Ebenso konnten wir den kostenlosen Shuttleservice zum Ubud Palace nutzen. Neben dem Frühstück, konnten wir kostengünstig traditionelle Gerichte bestellen und nachmittags wurde ein kleiner selbstgemachter Snack mit Tee serviert. Um die Villa herum gibt es ein paar kleine Lädchen sowie eine Wäscherei zu günstigen Preisen. Wer eine familiäre Unterkunft umgeben von Reisfeldern in einer idyllischen Umgebung sucht, wird seine Zeit genießen können. Während unserer Reise waren wir in mehreren Hotels, jedoch haben wir uns nur dort, wie zu Hause gefühlt. Besten Dank an das Team für die tolle Zeit, Kathi und Felix

Wir waren sechs Tage in der Inang Villa und waren sehr begeistert. Die Anlage ist stilvoll angelegt und gepflegt. Es gibt jeden Tag ein tolles Frühstück und am Pool lässt es sich entspannt den Tag verbringen. Von der Villa aus konnten wir schöne Tagesausflüge in die Umgebung machen. Bei der Planung haben wir Tipps erhalten und bei der Buchung unterstützt.

Top verblijf in een heerlijke villa
Het verblijf in deze villa was helemaal super!! De eigenaresse is ontzettend gastvrij en behulpzaam net als de rest van het personeel. De villa ligt tussen de rijstvelden net iets buiten het centrum, maar door de gratis shuttleservice is dit geen probleem. Ze hebben ons echt verwend. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans cet Hotel, le petit déjeuner est parfait. Le seul inconvénient de cet Hotel, 18 min en voiture jusque Ubud, mais l'hôtel propose une navette !

Excellent accomodation in a quiet pocket in Ubud
I stayed with my 2 kids and my wife in Inang Villa for 6 days. Kids had a great time in the pool. The owners Kadek and Putu were really nice and took care of us very well. The staff are always smiling and assist us with our requests with a great attitude. It's a safe place to stay in Bali(Ubud ). The hospitality you receive from them makes you feel like a king. We felt like we were at our second home. It's a kid friendly property. Complimentary breakfast, complimentary afternoon tea and free shuttle to Ubud centre was a bonus. In a nut shell, I would go back to Inang without any hesitation and recommend to anyone. Glad I was able to find the accomodation.

Tolles Hotel inmitten von Reisfeldern
Das wunderschöne Hotel wird von einer sehr netten Familie geführt, die sich super um ihre Gäste kümmert. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein Erfrischungsgetränk und eine Fußmassage! Es gab jeden Morgen leckeres Frühstück mit Blick ins Reisfeld. Der Service einmal am Tag in die Stadt Ubud und wieder zurück gefahren zu werden klappte problemlos. Pool und Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Wir können es bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen, für alle die Entspannung auf dem Land suchen!

Best Hotel - totally recommended
Super toller Aufenthalt für einen Schnäppchen Preis. Sehr engangiertes Personal mit bestem Service, etwas außerhalb von ubud gelegen, Wahnsinns Reisfelder drumherum, großer swimming Pool, ausgiebiges leckeres Frühstück, neu und komplett sauber! Wenn wir wieder nach Ubud kommen, werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder hier übernachten! Tolles Hotel!
