Yes, we know: Our building is several hundred years old; like most in the historical part of Salzburg. There are some creaky floor boards, nearly no right angles - spending the night in the historical part of Salzburg (not only in our house) means, making vacations in the middle of Salzburgs history.

You are right: We don't have air-conditioning in our hotel. The house is protected as a historical monument by UNESCO and till now we are not allowed to install one. We try to mention it on every plattform. We hope, you still could enjoy your time in Salzburg, and came back home safely afterwards.
