I don’t have high expectations for this kind of hotel, and it’s still the case. The hair dryer didn’t work and the breakfast area hot water wasn’t working…Moving on.

Poorly kept, dirty, loud, stinky. And $250/night is ludicrous. It's a $69/night motel at best.

It was ok for the price. The service was good, we had to have a maintenance person fix our door lock, and they came immediately. It looked like they recently renovated the whole complex. the workmanship is not great. Could have done a better job.

We were charged approx $440 and we booked 2 months early, couple across the hall said they arrived the day before and was charged $250. That’s Bull$hit! Floor in room was disgustingly dirty and sticky. No power in bathroom outlet. Fan and overhead lights in bathroom didn’t work. Hair dryer would not work so the front desk loaned us one from someone who apparently lives there, which is odd. Almost no pressure in bathroom sink, shower head was cheap and unadjustable. Large window was left completely unlocked and we were on a ground floor.

Our stay at this hotel was ok. Considering the type of hotel room, rate should be cheap but considering it was a game weekend it is to be expected that even the cheap hotels jack their price up as well. I will not stay here again. Just not my type of hotel.

Our stay was great!
My husband and I were in town for parents weekend. Our stay was great. Staff friendly, accommodations were clean and comfortable. The property provided us both with complimentary snacks, candy, soda and water. Will stay here again.

It was so dirty. I dont think the hallways have ever been vaccumed or steps ever swept. Even the lobby was gross. Room was gross, sticky floors and counter nothing cleaned. Dirty towels in bathroom. Do not stay here!

Staff never vacuumed the front of my room for 4 days i was there they never passed the vacuum and the same popcorn and dirt was still there when I left,unbelievable.

We got there late because we were driving through! The shower was broken, there were dead bugs on the floor in the restroom and the room. The walls where cracked and moldy in the bathroom as well! Was advertised breakfast but the receptionist that morning said it’s closed and no longer offered I called the front desk three times for the wifi password and the guy in the front ws just sitting there in his phone ignoring my calls!

The property is very outdated. Also the receptionist was sleeping when we left to check out the following morning. Super noisy people talking loudly all through the night. Christmas decorations still up in March.

Won’t stay again.
The outside and inside trash cans were overflowing. The trash wasn’t taken up from the night before before breakfast. The locks on our door were broken. The deadbolt would not engage and the arm bar lock was half missing.

Overall a good stay
We came up up for a Bama game and needed a place to stay that night. It was perfect for us since we just needed a place to sleep. I did notice some mold in a crevice above the shower and the vent in the bathroom did not work (which leads to mold). Other than that, it was very clean the bed was very comfortable and they had snacks for purchase in the room! The room didn’t have carpet, which is great because carpet can hide dirt and germs! Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Front desk staff very welcoming, snack tray in room was such a nice touch. Clean and neat.

Don’t stay here unless you like the sound of heavy traffic day and night. Even the tv could not drown it out.

The property was conveniently located to the University. Staff was polite. There was an awful smell in the room while the ac unit was running. We looked and saw mold inside the unit. Holes were in the towels. Thete were stains on the window seat cushion. The mark up of the room rate was astronomical for football season. IIt was only worth th,e normal, off season rate of $62, a place to rest for a night. However, we had to pay over $450 per night. I did not received a quality stay at Microtel.
