FOR FUTURE GUESTS: This property offers vacation rental apartments with their own kitchens and are fully self catered and no breakfast is provided. We also offer a few guest rooms in the Inn which has a shared living room and dining area. While the property is advertises as no breakfast provided, guests in the Inn do not have kitchen access and therefore we do provide a complimentary self-serve breakfast to include hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, cheese, fruit, hot and cold cereals, granola, English muffins or other items for toaster use, orange juice, coffee, tea, cocoa and milk. Cleaners and staff are in and out of the property, but are also available via phone through the reservations line, or a special number to call during sleeping hours should an urgent need arise.We hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future.

As for the train though, if you are sensitive to city noise, we do offer box fans which do help create white noise, but you will likely still here the busy railyard which is located in downtown Anchorage.

Hello Barbara,We thank you for your stay. I did talk to some of your group in the parking lot, sorry I did not get to meet you.Full service breakfast did go away about 3 years ago, prior to us taking over, it was changed to a bagged breakfast to go. Unfortunately due to multiple negative interactions between guests over sharing tables and overcrowding in the Inn dining room ....we did change the apartments to a vacation rental model. Our entire listing shows that we do not offer breakfast, but FOR THOSE WHO DO WANT BREAKFAST -- We do offer breakfast in the Inn rooms. As these rooms do not have access to the kitchen, a self serve breakfast is provided of hard boiled eggs, hot and cold cereals, english muffins or another bread, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, orange juice, cocoa, coffee, etc.It is a big change from the full service sit down gourmet meals that were once served, so we can understand the disappointment.FOR FUTURE GUESTS -- if anything is broken or not property cleaned, please let us know during your stay and we will take care of them. We are available via phone at all times, even at night if there are urgent issues.

Hello Christen, Usually guests are very happy with our staff and the baggage storage process, so we are sorry to hear you experienced difficulties.FOR FUTURE GUESTS - as for the shared bath, we only have two rooms that share a bath, and each is marked as a shared bath in the listing. We do also send out check in instructions up to 7 days prior to arrival that does remind guests in those two rooms that it is a shared bath. For those who do not want a shared bath, we do offer 4 private rooms and 6 additional private apartments.

We are sorry to see this guest did not enjoy their stay. While this guest's stay was two weeks ago, we will go through the unit and check all of the concerns listed to insure all systems are working correctly, but we have not received any other reports in the past two weeks. FOR FUTURE GUESTS -- Each room on our site is pictured in our listing and all rooms have similar finishes. Bedding does change frequently, so there can be a difference in the bedding from that which is in the photos. We do encourage guests to reach out if they have any concerns or need help with any of the systems during their stay.

A self serve breakfast is available in the Inn as there is no kitchen use with the room rentals. Should you need assistance during your stay, if we are not on site at the moment and you need assistance, we are available via phone.

Thanks for staying with us and we are glad you enjoyed the views, cleanliness and deck. The drapes in the living room are labeled as room darkening, but will be looking for something darker. FOR FUTURE GUESTS We do limit the laundry hours to minimize noise at night and to insure the cleaners have full access to the machines during cleaning hours. The wash cycle takes 30 minutes and the dry cycle has multiple functions and heat settings, but usually finishes in about 45 minutes. It is fairly rare that both machines are being used in the evenings, but if that is the case, you can reach out to us and we can extend the hours on a case by case basis.

Thanks Run for staying with us on your two different stays a few days apart. FOR FUTURE GUESTS: Anchorage does have a large homeless population. This is surprising to most guests as they do not expect to see them due to our long winters. Most of them congregate downtown in the parks, near the Convention and Visitors Bureau information cabin etc. We don't ever see them camping out on our section of 2nd Ct. as we are on a dead end road, but occasionally do see them pass through. The Anchorage Downtown Partnership does patrol the downtown area to assist if needed. If there are concerns during your stay, please do reach out for assistance.

Obwohl in unserem Eintrag angegeben ist, dass kein Frühstück angeboten wird, bieten die 6 Zimmer im Gasthof ein Frühstück zur Selbstbedienung an, da sie nicht über die Nutzung der Küche verfügen. Das Frühstück besteht aus Obst, hartgekochten Eiern, Käse, Joghurt, Orangensaft, Milch, Kaffee, Tee, heißem Kakao, englischen Muffins oder anderen Brotsorten, Müsli sowie warmen und kalten Müsli. Reinigungskräfte und Personal sind tagsüber in der Unterkunft und außerhalb der Unterkunft unterwegs. Bei kurzen Aufenthalten oder wenn Sie nur während der Schlafenszeit dort sind, sehen Sie uns möglicherweise nicht persönlich, sind aber bei Bedarf telefonisch erreichbar.

Like with most large cities, we do have a homeless population in the downtown area. While you will see homeless all over the city, the heaviest concentration is in the center of the city in the parks and near the convention and visitors bureau information center.
