Although I don't believe this is a 5 star hotel, I had a pleasant stay none the less. The room was starting to look tired, but it's all part of the charm I guess. Very good location, and easy to get other popular parts of Cotswolds. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Only had 2 issues, 1st being the extremely loud creaky floors that kept waking us up (although, I appreciate its an old building, so not much can be done there). Secondly, I had to wait 45 minutes for a sausage sandwich at breakfast, while my other half had had hers and finished, and still didnt get my order, so I ended up going elsewhere for breakfast. I do believe that was a one off, not something that happens regular.
Overall enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
