Older property with some issues.
It is difficult to give negative review to this family owned motel. It is in a small town and is a very old facility. The water heater went out just before we arrived and they had developed a system to work around it. However, it took a very long time to get hot water. The staff was very understanding and very good, but it was a difficult stay.

Thank you for the review. However, I believe your review is unfair. It might have taken a little longer to get hot water, but I know you did infact get hot water! When we spoke the next morning you said everything was good. Infact, I had to mention the water issue to you. It is reviews like this that hurt small business owners who are trying to better themselves, keep a business going and supply people with a clean warm place to stay when traveling. What if we didn't know there was a hot water issue to begin with? You would have never said anything to me but instead you post it all over online? That isn't fair! We put in a brand-new water heater and are still unfortunately working out the kinks! Not everything works out the way you hope right away! Also, if it was such a difficult stay, then why did you leave a 10 tip in the room?? Again, thank you for the review, but it is a bit unfair!

You didn't even stay here!!! You called and stated you were not getting out of your car as there were "men" in the parking lot!!! I am not sure what your deal really was but you did not even attempt to check in, so you were considered a "no-show"! Please don't try to bring our business down because of whatever your issues are! This is a great little place to stay and almost all of our reviews show that! In all honesty, I am glad you didn't actually stay here! You would not have been a good fit for our establishment!

Comfortable and convenient.
Fabric softener was possibly used. We prefer white vinegar rinse. Doesn't leave a fragrance and is kinder to the skin and environment.

Was an older hotel, but rooms had been updated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfy.

Great Stay In Sundance
Very nice and clean motel. Friendly staff. Only room for improvement in my opinion would be to upgrade the bed as ours was a bit squeaky and too firm. Management is in the process of several upgrades so perhaps that item is already on their to-do list.

Clean and quiet.
The motel facility is showing its age, however the owners are trying their best to maintain and improve the motel. The motel was clean and quiet. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful.

Camion parqué au motel avec le moteur qui a tourné le doir très tard et le matin très tôt. Et le matin, j'ai vu le chauffeur sortir de la chambre la plus éloignée du bruit !!! Et le bruit des climatiseur est vraiment fort. A part çà motel sympa, dommage que les propriétaires ne disent rien pour le bruit. Et dommage de ne pas afficher le prix avec les frais de 3.99% de frais de carte de crédit. Il serait plus commercial de faire une ristourne si paiement cash.

Thank you, we appreciate your feedback! The noise you are referring to is not anything we have on a normal basis. In fact it is usually pretty quiet here. Many people have mentioned that in other reviews! And as far as the Credit card processing fee, like I stated to you this morning, you were informed of it multiple times prior to you checking in, AND at check in! We do not hide our fees as other places do!

Plenty of room in room itself. TV sat low. Upgrades are needed! Towels had yellow stuff stuck on them and sheets appeared to have crumbs in them? Staff were very nice and friendly!

First ever motel we had ever stayed at. Motel looks recently renovated. Bed was nice. Was great parking directly in front of your room. Very sleepy looking town. Staff was nice!

This was the nicest and cleanest motel we've ever stayed in. The room shave tile floors rather than carpet which was a definite plus. Beds were very comfortable, ac unit was quiet, there's a laundry room (and someone even provided detergent), and they provide asmall breakfast but there were a lot of options to choose from. Will definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

quick stop on vacation
We stopped for one night on our way east. The room was clean, bed comfortable. My husband really liked the chair. The bathroom is small but clean. The breakfast is small and simple and does the job. we always like parking outside of our room. We would stay again if in town.

The staff was really helpful! We checked in so late and left so early, we never met them in person. They were very helpful in assisting in this process. The property is clean, and very simple, not a lot of frills, and none were expected. This was exactly what I would expect from a motel in tiny town. The room was clean, but if you are looking for pristine and like new, the moose pattern comforter may be a disappointment. A cute and quaint place, good for a short stay, but an EXCELLENT location!

Very very noisy air conditioner, couldn't hear the tv while it was running, had to turn it off when sleeping, to loud to sleep. Bathroom fan also extremely loud, couldn't stand to be in the bathroom. Bath towels extremely thin, bar soap wouldn't lather. If you want to sleep, avoid this place.

We're sorry to hear you didn't have the best experience staying with us. This is an older motel, that we are working on updating but it all takes time. We are on our 2nd season. We are not the Hilton and we do not claim to be. That is why we do not charge Hilton prices. Again, we are sorry you didn't have the best experience, but we appreciate you giving us a try!
