We were delighted to be staying near the iconic pier @ Davis Bay! Stunning view from our ground level, one bedroom suite. Staff helpful when we couldn’t get the blind down with the remote/power button. They were busy but they came by to fix. Beds were so comfy! Obvious upgrades! Delightful shower head and instant hot water. Great location for “Joes” a must eatery and little shop carrying the tasty Davis Bay Tea. Also it was quiet despite being on the main hwy. we really loved our stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Oceanside. It looked exactly like the pictures but the view was honestly way better in person. The only comment we could make was the mattress was quite loud so any time we moved, we would wake up from the sound. Seemed like there was a plastic covering that wasn’t taken off. Otherwise everything was great and we would stay again.

Oceanside was a great convenient stop right beside the highway. The full glass window to the ocean with the wonderful patio was a great feature. Comfortable bed and modern classy bathroom were also great features. The attached restaurant, Joe’s On The Beach, was significant better than typical hotel restaurants. All in all, this was a great stopover hotel.

It’s an older property but clean and well maintained. The staff was nice. We were put in the suite above the restaurant so it was very noisy due to that but the suite itself was spacious and had a beautiful enclosed balcony with a view of the ocean. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel has been updated. Room is clean and has all the things you need. Restaurant next door is Joe’s and dinner was delicious! The beach is a few steps away. It is rocky and slippery. But great for exploring for sea glass!

Had a very nice stay, however there was a small raised lip between the carpet and the tile. This was a hazard at night. My wife tripped and fell.

This hotel is just across the street from a pier out into the bay. long beach for walking along. although it was too cold to walk along we did visit in the car and watch seals fishing along the surf. we were just down the rd from the family we were here to visit. we were very happy with our stay on the sunshine coast.

Enjoyed our stay at Oceanside. The rooms had everything we needed with nice view of ocean. Bit of street noise during the day because it’s on main road but very quiet at night. Comfy beds. We really enjoyed the restaurant that is connected to hotel (Joe’s) and it is next to a great cafe/coffee shop called Gourmet Girl. Perfect location on lower coast. Our room was warm and clean. Note that there’s no bath tub but a nice shower with great shower pressure. Friendly staff!

Overall room was great beds were super comfortable the only thing is you are on the highway the doors windows are all sound proof. If you do want to sit on the balcony you will see and hear traffic. But overall a nice place.

Was very noisy. People above us partied until 5 30 in the morning. Called front desk to complain several times. We were not discounted or anything for losing an entire night of sleep. Would never book here again

The people running the place were really sweet and accommodating. We asked for extra pillows and they brought them up really quickly, plus any time we contacted them via the room phone they picked up right away. Clean room, modern fixtures, plenty of soaps and lotions. The only downside is that the TV selection (even PPV) is so minimal as to be pointless. It would make more sense to offer DVDs than to expect people to get any value out of watching basic cable.

Nice stay
Great location - right across from the beach, although busy highway in-between. Beautiful view from our room. Spacious room was lovely, although heat cranked up upon our arrival. Opening the slider helped cool it. Comfortable bed and great walk-in shower. Rooms looked like they have been recently renovated. Within walking distance to restaurants including one at the hotel. I would recommend that the restaurant clean up the area at the back, since that is the entrance to all the hotel rooms. It was an unslightly storage area.

Stayed in 2 bed suite. Was perfect for our needs. Beds were comfortable, living room area was great for evening wind down. Didn't use the kitchenette but it looked perfect for cooking small meals. Bathroom was nice double shower. Would definitely return. Restaurant attached to the property was outstanding.

The view of the ocean is the highlight. However between the hotel and ocean is a busy road. Road noise is constant so bring ear plugs to help you sleep.
