It’s a nice suite that’s well stocked with what you need to be comfortable. It’s a quiet area with plenty to do. We loved walking through the area and exploring. My only observation is that the Sunrise Suite is very aptly named as it is bright even with the curtains. There’s a skylight over the pullout bed that doesn’t close. If you like lots of sunshine, you will love it! Finally, the owner is thoughtful, flexible, and helpful.

John and Carolyn excellent hosts..went above and beyond to ensure our stay was awesome. There was planned power outage by hydro and they ensured we still had tasty breakfast and coffee by cooking in their wood fired oven. Thank you.

Very comfortable stay
Very comfortable suite with everything we needed. Lots of space and clean. A little noise from the main street in the morning, as would be expected, but not enough to disturb sleep.

Spent the night there on a paddle tour of the Rideau Canal. Great location and super easy check-in. Even had a spot to park our canoes. Very nice place. Would definitely come back

The place was exactly as advertised. Clean and spacious suite located in the heart of this small town. Check in process was seamless all done via email. Safe and convenient parking spot is included. Lots of nice touches by the owner including complimentary teas and healthy snacks. Would definitely stay at the Merrickville Guest Suites again.

The perfect location for anyone wanting to be in the centre of village life. Tons of wonderful shopping right out the front door. Busy during the day but like many small villages, very quiet in the evening. Private parking. Very accommodating host. Beautiful suite with fully-equipped kitchenette.

Would highly recommend. Right on the Main Street. Very quiet at night though... as far as sleeping. Nicely furnished suite with lots of TLC extras!

Great comfy suite
The suite is very comfy, clean and modern. Although there was a bit of confusion with the booking price, that eventually got cleared up and we had a great one-night stay with our two young kids.

ce n'est pas ce qu'on a vu sur le site, et l'adresse n'était pas celle donnée, elle était inexistante.. Nous avons téléphoné à l'hotel pour qu'une personne sorte de je ne sais ou et nous amener 5 rue plus loin et nous montrer une shed avec atelier de cuivre ou qu'il y avait une drôle d'odeur. Nous avons quitté et nous somme couchés ailleurs.

I’m sad that these people who booked the Suite an hour before they arrived didn’t have a wonderful experience in Merrickville, almost everyone does. Perhaps they were confused about the Suites. Each Suite is distinct and there are photos of all three on the website. The Suite they had booked, the top floor in a log house,is above my leather studio two blocks away from the other Suites. I helped them up with their luggage, It’s too bad they didn’t call me when they left because the Suite they saw was also available. I did give them a refund.

A diamond right next to the canal!!
My son and I stayed her for a baseball tournament and it was perfect. 700m walk to the diamond and the room was clean and comfortable. Complementary healthy snacks were left out for us to enjoy and When we did prepaid food in the room the kitchen was fully stocked with dish cleaning and cooking supplies.

I really enjoyed my stay. The accomodations were lovely and accomodating. I will be back to stay again. Merrickville is so quaint and full of charm. Only wish was that I could stay longer.

Located right downtown with easy access to shops and restaurants. Only thing to consider is accessibility, it is a full flight of stairs up and no visible alternative way to reach the room. I would definitely recommend this room for its brightness, facilities and comfort.

Great little spot! Travelled for work. The spa is great and reasonable prices. Tried both pubs in town - good food. The room was clean and bed was comfy.
