Stayed 4 nights, but our room was never cleaned for the entire stay. Nobody came to clean our room even after calling reception and asking for cleaning.

Phenomenal! The whole property is magical and the staff, particularly Valentina, went above and beyond. The location and grounds are breathtaking. My stay was too short and I look forward to returning. I would recommend Hotel Axidie to anyone, but especially someone looking to relax and recharge, or a wonderful family vacation.

Avoid this place. Firstly, they charged me over €70 for a meal I did not have, and after realising, I emailed and messaged them 4 or 5 times with no response. It’s now been over a week with no reply. I even got a call during my stay to ask me if I had the meal, which I said no, and they charged me anyway. Certain parts of the resort are also off limits. Although they don’t tell you that until you try to access it. We sat at some sun loungers near the beach and pool and were told that’s not for guests. Went to the beach, sat in another area, and were then told that’s not for us either and were sent right to the end. The resort is basically for locals and guests are just given a small part to use.

Generally we had a pleasant stay at the hotel, however this is not a 4 strar resort, as you would expect. YOU MUST KNOW, as Expedia does not have it anywhere in the description. Pools area, they call it Wellness area (the area with couple of beautiful pools on the left as you can see on the main picture) is NOT FREE for hotel residents. You have to pay 20 euro per person to go for a swim there or 40 euro per person if you want a sun bed as well! Children are not allowed there, except on Thursdays. Beach, however, is free and it’s very large and we always had seats and umbrella there, although beach is a part of a beach club, which has its own local memebers and hotel residents can not choose where they want to be on the beach, as there is a dedicated area for the residents and, unfortunately, it is not the best one. On weekends beach gets very full and noisy as locals members come with lots of kids. There is a kids club for members there as well, however it seemed like it was only for Italian speakers. Another thing Expedia does not say is that apartments don’t come with cleaning service. If you want they can arrange cleaning for 50 euros. This would include changing towels as well. Apartments are very dated and need a good repair, however they are quite spacious and located away from the main bit of the hotel so it’s quite there. The best thing about this hotel is it’s location. In quite Marina area of Vico Equense, with nice selection of restaurants around.

Nice place for felaxing. Good room and air conditioning. Poor kitchen accessories, a lot of ants in the house, and a bit of a process to enter and go out with car every time.

Hotel is located in a great and location, overall condition is really nice but room had some issues and management did nothing. Breakfast was outstanding. I didn't appreciate that best part of the beach is for members rather than hotel guests.

Pleasant Stay
Beautiful views of Vesuvius! Vico Equense is a much quieter area than Amalfi and Positano. The staff members at the front desk were friendly and professional. They arranged our transportation when needed and happily answered all of our questions. They were able to communicate in English which was appreciated. Beach lounge chairs were available every time we needed them. We found a decent selection of restaurants within steps of the resort. The hotel breakfast on the 3rd floor offered beautiful panoramic views over the water. The breakfast was included in our room rate and was delicious. The free hotel shuttle to the train station was helpful for our excursions. The hotel staff booked private transportation for 4 of us to the Naples airport for $140 total.

The facilities in this hotel are a mix of 5 star and 2 star. The wellness center, private beach, and restaurants are excellent, while the rooms are older and not especially clean or nice. The biggest complaint I have is that they rent out the wellness area for parties that blast loud music and don’t end until midnight. We were there for 6 nights for our honeymoon and they had parties 3 of them. I wish the hotel had informed us of that before we booked, and had not lied to us so blatantly when we asked abt the frequency of these events. If you bring earplugs, it’s fine, but not what you want on a vacation.

I do not recommend to stay at this property if you are traveling with family and specially during the weekends. What they don't tell you is that this resort rents some of their areas for events such as weddings as such, specially during the weekends( it may happen on weekdays too!). When an event happens they close the event areas ( wellness area pools, parts of the beach and even some paths. The result is a very confusing and annoying experience. The loud music until 1 or 2 in the morning, the path that you take to go to your room maybe closed and you have to walk around, even some areas of the beach are closed and you are restricted to a tiny part of it. The list goes on and on. The ‘wellness center’ which is the nice pool and sauna that they show you in the pictures is for adults only and if you as a guest want to use it you must pay a fee, if you want beach towels you must pay a fee, you get the point, the main restaurant doesnt open every day and if you want a nice table you need to make a reservation, i wouldn't do that any way the food is so so and expensive. Some of the service people are rude, like when an area is suddenly closed they just tell you to go away, the only really nice staff was the reception people who were helpful checking in and out. In summary if you are traveling with family i would stay away from this one, specially on the weekends and unless you cannot find any other place.

Nice pools and beach, good restaurant but pricey so we didnt come back and has no atmosphere at all. Excellent breakfast with Raphael every morning so nice and attentative. Who was always smiling and remembering which we liked. Cleaning was terrible in our room. Left a paper on purpose, stayed there for 2 days, then in our 4 night i had to ask for sheets to be changed, on our 5 day the room upstairs wasn t done! The manager sent someone to do it but not even offered a meaningful Sorry, or at least a free drink as compensation. The room was big but needs urgent update, the curtain had a hole, bathroom frame wore out and towels too.al so does the path towards room 102 was like being in other hotel.

We were at this hotel in 2017 and we’re back this year for a second time. The apartments have all been renovated and are much nicer than before. The temperature controlled pools are great. Shuttles to and from town train station throughout the day and evening. Also walking distance to close by restaurants. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Ce qui pourrait être amélioré : le fait d'avoir un appartement à l'autre bout du site (accès en voiture près de l'appartement OK) fait que le ménage n'est pas fait pendant le séjour et pas de changement des serviettes non plus (cela aurait été appréciable qu'elles soient changées au moins tous les 2 jours). Accès piscine (pas celle du bar) avec horaires très limités..

Excelente, apartamento 27 fica distante de quartos, perto de um paredão de rocha, possui 3 varandas, 2 bwc, duas camas super confortáveis, uma linda paisagem do MAR ao caminhar , cheiro de Jasmim, piscinas grandes, praia provada, quadras esportivas, ao sair do Hotel em 1 minutos esta na area de restaurantes beira mar mais cobicados da região e o valor da hospedagem por tudo isso é muito bom, a colaboradora Anna foi super prestativa e simpática

Ich und meine Frau sind sehr zufrieden!!! Wenn man ein anliegen hat wird dies sofort bearbeitet uns sehr professionell gelöst. Mir ist klar das es nicht immer Situationen gibt in denen es sofort funktioniert wie z.B. in der Session aber das ist klar das man da sich in Geduld üben muss. Für uns war es Super!!! Strandliegen inkl. Essen im Restaurant war top und mein Tip für die Stadt (Zentrum)...Fahrzeug mieten, wenn Sie gerne Fahren. Wo? Direkt an der Rezeption. Das Fahrzeug kommt und dann muss man nur noch das Fahrzeug auf vorschäden Kontrollieren und los gehts.Wir waren mit unserem Fahrzeug (Skoda Octavia RS Combi) angereist. Aber es hat sich gelohnt ein Fahrzeug zu mieten da das Risiko hoch ist eine Delle zu kassieren und man besser vorwärts kommt mit einem kleinerem Fahrzeug (es ist aber nichts passiert) der Verkehr ist sehr dicht das Heist etwa ein Zentimeter von der Stossstange entfernt. Vazit: Machen wir wieder. (Eachen Sie sich immer selber ein Bild für jeden ist es wieder eine andere Erfahrung/Erlebnis) Danke

Le Axidie is well positioned to offer stunning views across the Bay of Naples. The hotel provides a shared (with other hotels) shuttle service to and from town, but sometimes there are too many people for one vehicle, and another has to be called for. A booking system would perhaps help. The rooms are comfortable and nicely kept by the cleaners. Breakfast is good, with the added bonus of those lovely views across the Bay. We also enjoyed our dinners in the restaurant when we ate there. Best of all the staff are amazing, very friendly and professional- they always have a smile for you and are always ready to offer help. Overall we had a great holiday at Le Axidie and have every intention of returning in the future.

The staff and food were fantastic. Beach access was lovely. The overall condition of the hotel was poor and very old. That said, I’m from the USA and I’m aware properties in this part of the world are much older, but the hotel needs an overhaul. I was here alone, which also made this location a little difficult, without a car. There was a shuttle bus to the train, but very limited coming back. When I got to the train station at 8:05pm there weren’t any taxis and I had to wait 45 min for a local bus. There were some people around, but it didn’t feel super safe. The hotel dining was fantastic, the staff and the food!

We loved our experience at Le Axidie! We came to Italy to explore and have relax days in between. This resort is a little off the beaten path but they provide free transportation to the train making exploration easy. Reception is very helpful as well. Plus it felt super safe tucked away. The resort is amazing with 5 pools and the beach to relax on. Access to the sea from your hotel is not easy to come by in this area.

Highly recommend for those who wants to spend time in the beach and also in upscale pools (wellness center). The staff was very courteous. If you want to go to capri or positano there is an small marina 5 min from the hotel, so don’t waste time booking in a different port or marina. The access from the main road to the hotel is a little be tricky make sure to be alert for the traffic coming from the opposite side in curbs. The road has traffic in both ways. Everything else was great.

Fantastic, slightly quirky, beach area and views were stunning, and harbour next to the hotel had one or two good restaurants and bars. Reception staff were very helpful. Spa area cost £15 euros, but was lovely for a slight change of scenery. Highly recommended

Place is NOTHING like the pictures. The pictures they are using must be from years ago and not the rooms actually presented for stay. The apartment was dirty, unkept and we regret booking this. Terrible.

Un hôtel vraiment très confortable avec un personnel de réception parlant un français impeccable et serviable. Le petit déjeuner haut de gamme avec un vue splendide sur la baie. Petit moins : il y a eu un mariage pendant notre séjour qui a occasionné un peu de bruit.

We stayed at one of their apartments, the only option available when booking. Room never got cleaned, when we requested for housekeeping service were told it would cost 80 Euros. The laundry machine didn’t work in our room, someone was sent to fix it but was never repaired. Local people get season passes at the hotel, it gets very crowded -a lot of youngsters; their “private” beach has lounge chairs and umbrellas assigned to those local people. Guests at the hotel can never get front chairs, but instead in the back. For beach/pool towels you have to go to the front desk to get them. Our experience at this place was not good. We would not got back and don't recommend it.

Y No pusieron en el departamento más lejano que había , y cuando pedí que nos cambiaran me dijeron que el cuarto costaba 800 Euros la noche ! Ridiculo !! Le Axidie is only a day away
Front office was superb. Needed a Dr. First day Daniel was empathic. He took care of everything for me! Anna was another angel to work with she helped get special requests met with diligence and aplomb. My wife and I were treated well. We felt special. Le Axidie is a gem. Chi chi beach is very beautiful.we also enjoyed the spa area. There is a great view to Vesuvius We hope to return and enjoy another special trip

Very cute place. We came out here from my birthday, from only about an hour away, just for one night. It was fun. I would love to go again. The only issue, which I found so strange is no pool?? So odd

The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the area was beautiful. The property was a bit dated but it looked like they weee in the process of updating. Our room was well equipped but could have been cleaner. Overall it was a nice hotel.
