Hello Jorge, the leaking air conditioning was reported at 10am, 1.5 hours before the checkout, the maintenance person was sent immediately to fix it, no personal belongings damaged by the leak were reported by your group.

We are sorry to know your experience at Oceano didn´t meet your expectations and offer you our most sincere apologies for any inconveniences which could occur during your stay. Despite you booked a 3 bedroom Penthouse your original reservation was made for 2 guests so at check in you were asked to pay some extra fee for the third person. I’m sorry if it made you feel uncomfortable but an extra guest fee is a common thing in hospitality industry and the Front Desk agent was just doing her job. On the other hand we are a bit surprised and confused by your comment about the local tourists, since while in Cost-Rica it is very probable to have Costa Rican people around. Thank you for your visit and your feedback. Please note that the pool is open between 7am and 9pm, after 9pm a treatment has to be applied to purify the water and have it ready for the next day. This schedule is communicated to your guests at check in. As well you have to take into consideration that in case of making a reservation and issuing the payment through a third party the Hotel is not able to provide you a receipt for your stay.

There must be some kind of confusion, we do not advertise a jacuzzi as part of the amenities of the penthouses, what we offer is private plunge pools on the balconies where you can freshen up after a hot day.
