The hotel is ...okay.
Granted we stayed during the rainy season in September, but the place just felt dead. The reception wasnt manned after 6pm, the restaurant closed at 5pm and there was at most two people we saw at the pool. Very eery feeling.
The main disappointment was that we had paid for breakfast to be included, however upon arriving we were told due to the season and limited guests the breakfast menu is reduced. It was literally a croissant and an egg, or croissant and what we in the UK have as a tinned hot dog.
I appreciate limited numbers may put a strain on staff costs, but we're full paying customers, this didnt seem fair. Breakfast was nothing like the photos made it seem.
On the positive side, when the staff were actually around, they were lovely just as nearly all Thai people are and the room was decent enough with a balcony... although 'sea view' was debatable.
