Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft in einer Oase der Ruhe. Die Zimmer/Apartments sind extrem großzügig, haben alles was man braucht, inclusive Holzofen für kalte Nächte. Tracy an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Nachhinein wären wir gerne länger geblieben.

For a very low budget (175 euro for 3 nights) a really nice room, bathroom, ktichen. Honest to say its not to compare withe star accommodations but lovely. Nice sitting areas near your room. Bbq option in your own garden. Nice pool with enough parasols. More than value for money

So Helpful!!
Great little find. Clean, safe, friendly! Went out of their to sort breakfast for us. Allowed us to use their phone to order pizza!! So relaxing and we’ll equipped!! A must stay if you’re in the area!!

Palatial sized rooms, garden and “stoop” with a welcoming braii already set up and ready to be lit. Beautiful artwork on walls and tasteful decor.

Die einzelnen Häuschen sind mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, die Anlage selbst ist sehr schön ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück wurde uns am Vortag in den Kühlschrank gestellt - für uns perfekt, so konnten wir nach einer Wanderung am Morgen auf der Terrasse in der Sonne frühstücken.

Best Hilltop stay
Lana was a excellent hostess. Great property , well kept and very friendly, accommodating team. I suggest having the braai on site as you can order in sides from Lana and go to the local butcher for great meat. Get Great experience and you get to sit to sit at a fire with a glass or two of wine. Fun time!! I would highly recommend staying here s we will be back for sure.

Beautiful room
We loved our stay at Hilltop. The service was exceptional. The front desk was very helpful. We were greeted with a map of the local area and recommendations on where to eat for dinner. The room was extremely spacious. The wood stove was a highlight.

Our 140 m apartment.... with 2 bedrooms. Stunning!! The place.... really on the hilltop.... with amazing views down The Valley and very close to the beautiful.... hills!

Comfortable room
We stayed only 1 night, arriving after dark, the accommodation was comfortable and we enjoyed our time there. Staff were friendly, and the room was clean and well equipped.

Nice cosy cottage stay
Got a free room upgrade to a family suite. A little too big as there was only 2 of us, but it was nice to have a fireplace.

Wonderful lodge with beautiful views
This little find was perfect for our night stay. The room was so lovely and had all the little touches to make our stay perfect. It was a little cold but the open fire made it wonderful and cosy. On our arrival we popped to the store and had a bbq as all the equipment is there for your use. The internet was possibly the best we had in SA on our trip. I cannot fault this place it’s a perfect little lodge. One thing to note is that if you go for bed and breakfast then you have to make the breakfast yourself and they will just pop the items in your fridge.

Truly a retreat
The location on the very edge of a nature reserve is stunning. It really is a retreat - the sound in the morning is bird song. Thoughtful touches of coffee and the basic necessities so you can settle in and use the kitchen. We stayed twice going up and down the Garden Route and we will certainly go back.

From start to finish staff couldn’t be more helpful and every little thing catered for. Really felt like a retreat. Lovely views of the mountains too.

Pleasant stay in quiet part of town
Very comfortable and stylish small hotel up the hill and a bit out of town. Walking distance to picturesque nature reserve.

Nice size room but with issues.
After a prompt and pleasant check in where we were told we'd been upgraded to a deluxe room, we were shown to a nice, large, well appointed room. However, on the evening of our stay, the WiFi didn't work and the staff member we spoke to couldn't resolve it. Then later the cable TV went down also. The toilet cistern kept sticking, so I had to deal with that each time we flushed. The shower didn't drain well which meant you showered with several inches of water around your feet. The roof to the room was steel, not unusual in S.A but it meant we were awoken at 06-30 ish by birds running across the roof and then the roof contracting as the sun heated it up. Also the blinds did very little to keep the light out which again didn't help us sleeping in until a reasonable time. None of these were big deals on there own but we were getting fed up of it by the time we were ready to check out. We would have liked to mention these minor irritations when we left but there was no one in the office when we departed so we just left the key and continued our journey. A shame really as the owner and staff are lovely but a little maintenance is needed.

Leuk, landelijk hotel, in mooie tuin.
Onze kamer was "upgraded" en we hadden voor 4 personen een cottage, met beneden een zitkamer en eetkeuken, en boven twee slaapkamers en twee badkamers. Met groot balkon. Niet luxueus , maar heel sfeervol.

Beautiful room with a fireplace, kitchenette, lovely outdoor sitting area where you can BBQ. The host was very helpful and friendly. We also received a free upgrade and when we arrived, they even started the fire for us in our room.

Fijn hotel met lokale sferen
Het hotel is heel prettig gelegen: lekker rustig in prachtige natuur, maar toch ook weer niet te ver weg van de "grote stad". Ideale locatie om van alles te ondernemen: excursies in de natuur, cultuur snuiven of gewoon lekker genieten. De kamers zijn comfortabel ingericht in rustige kleuren. Het voelt heel prettig aan.

Nice views and rustic accomodation
The accommodation was nice with rustic touches. The room we had looked out over the yard and not the mountains. Service was very good and the hosts were very efficient. Area was ok for k e overnight stop, but not slot else. On our way to garden route, so not a problem for us.

Hidden Jewel
Das Guesthouse ist ein Hidden Jewel. Das Zimmer ist so ansprechend eingerichtet/ dekoriert, dass man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Die Ausstattung der kleinen Küche ist außerordentlich: Neben 2 Sorten Kaffee, Tee, Zucker, Milch gab es auch Salz, Pfeffer (beides aus der Mühle), gemischte Trockenkräuter, Öl, Küchenkrepp, Frischhaltefolie, Sherry, Küchenschürze u.a. Da hat jemand richtig mitgedacht. Das einzige Manko war die fehlende Klimaanlage (hätte man bei 33 Grad Außentemperatur gern gehabt). Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter ist ebenfalls überdurchschnittlich. Gerne wieder (vielleicht in einer etwas kühleren Jahreszeit).

Peaceful stopover.
This accomodation is perfect for a peaceful getaway/ stop on the garden route. Pretty garden in front of the room with brai facilities for each room. The service was amazing and the best bit was the design of the room. Really nice.
