The staff were great. Very accommodating. The nightly price was about average for the area, however for the price, accomodations were scarce. All in all, I would/will stay again.

There was no place to hang jackets or shirts. The worst was the amount of roaches in the room on the second day. They came under the door and our from under the bed…. There was at least 10 live ones and several dead ones

Filthy room, broken hair dryer, remote missing batteries, dirty microwave and refrigerator. I had read the reviews and thought I could handle it for one night but I would tell people don’t do it. It’s cheap but remember you get what you pay for. Go down the road and pay a little more for a much decent hotel.

So, the 1st thing I saw when I walked into the room was that the tile grout was black from filth! The sink has a full length crack in it. The refrigerator was leaking from the freezer part because of the ice build up the door would not shut all of the way. Batteries were missing rom the TV remote. The ice machine was not working and probably hasn't in years. The front lobby is NEVER open because it is use as a day care for the receptionist! The ONLY good thing is that the water was hot ! It's a rat hole !!!!!! Don't know how the board of health hasn't close this place down!

The property is located too close to a busy highway. I heard traffic all night. It was difficult to get adequate rest.

I disliked that I had to clean my room every day , and there was so much garbage, and then the sheets was dirty they had dirt and mud on the like the sheets has not been washed since the previous tent left

I liked the pricing of the room. That's really all I can say. There's is a lot left to be desired. First of all checked in, got room key, when walked 2 queen beds. I reserved like 3 weeks ago a king size bed. Attendants response, yes you did reserve a king room, I'm sorry we didn't have one available. Hello, what's the point of reserving something just.to not get it. Secondly, remote to tv doesn't work volume attendant said oh you'll have to just control it with tv buttons. Thirdly, only one bed with blanket. Found out no breakfast included after reserving room, and was listed as a amenity along with microwave in room. All lies. I will never stay here again. Ruined a wonderful stay out of town.

I like that it is comfortable and convenient to places to eat and stores.The manager and his wife are great and the dustin guy that works nights in the office was very helpful.

Mediocre Experience at best
Upside: The rooms have apparently been updated to an extent and it was clean. Downside: I reserved a king bed room online for my husband and I. We didn't check in until around 6p or so and didn't go straight to our room as we went out to eat first. Once we got to the room, we hadn't been given the king bed room I reserved. We'd been placed in a room with two full/queen beds. My husband is tall which is why we reserved a king bed. I called the front desk and the man said there wasn't anything he could do as they were fully booked. He'd just got to work when we checked in and that it would've been the day shift woman's responsibility to have set out the room keys. So basically we were stuck with a room opposite of what we reserved. The TV wouldn't work. We called to tell the man up front, he came to check and said the cable equipment was missing and stated he would go get replacement equipment. He ended up phoning our room shortly after saying it was locked up and someone was on their way to open it for him and that they'd be there in 5-10min. Over an hour later the TV still wasn't fixed. I called him back and he repeated how they were on there way, there was nothing he could do. That he'd also spoke with the prop. mnger and we'd be compensated for our trouble. Other issues include the shower curtain rod was barely attached to the wall and there was only 1 towel in the room. They did however bring us another towel. We did not get any compensation.

I had reserved a king bed and upon arrival they did not have any available they had no breakfast due to renovation but i was not made aware of this prior to booking. No blankets in the room.

Better than before
Mostly renovated--much more updated than the last time I stayed. Lobby still under reno, so no breakfast offered during my stay, but my room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and I felt safe. Updated the old, ugly bedspreads for nice clean, white linens. Weird entrance situation to the parking lot... you turn at a traffic light and then immediately turn again onto a parallel road that was difficult to see at night.

I Would Not Stay there
The stay was not good. The noise was terrible.and even the door allowed light and air. The walls had holes everywhere. The sheets had 10 stains each. There was water damage on ceiling. The desk chair was missing a wheel. There was NO breakfast as advertised-there was suppose to be. The tv remote didn't work. I asked for a wake up call and that did not happen. The clock did not work. Bathroom floor not clean. Bedside table was sticky.

Nasty Infested Horror Hotel
They had huge roaches and a tremendous amount of bed bugs. Told them we didn't want to stay there after entering the room. Also a lot of crack heads there. We said we wanted a refund then ran as far away from that place as possible.

I will never return to hotel. Had a extra charge on card after leaving and had to freeze my bank account with a unauthorized 2nd transaction. People was screaming and holering all night and i had to be up at 330 for work got woke up 3 times. Just a overall awful exp.

I felt that I was in a horror movie and I was the person who said “naw it’s okay I can go into the abandoned house and be okay” I was far from okay. I should known something was afoot when on the second floor outside of half the rooms was all the furniture. When I got to the room I noticed multiple stains on the sheets. The blanket was moist….why was it moist you might ask?!? Great question. When I get to Heaven I shall ask God because only He knows the answer to that question. The air conditioner soon started to leak and left a beautiful water feature in the floor. So I went to clean it up with towels and guess what?! If you guessed “the towels were dirty too!” You win! No worries I thought tho. At least I can watch tv….what’s that you say?!? The volume didn’t work? That makes sense. Oh and there was a fire alarm needing a battery somewhere close to my room so it made an annoying beep sound all night?! Cool. The best thing I can say about this place is that the drug deals who were actively selling drugs as I was leaving were very nice and I don’t have Scabies from the hotel…I think. 0 of 10 would not recommend. My God have mercy on the Royal Inn.

Filthy Trash Dump
This hotel checked me in. I proceeded to a event and came back to find someone in my room. We almost unlocked the door on this man and could have been shot this day and time. Clerk laughed and said that happen sometimes. Do you want me to move him out? My husband said are you kidding me? I will not stay in a room someone has already been in. So we got another room it stunk so bad that you could not take it. We also had to deal with bums begging for money. So we proceeded to the desk and said we are not staying here. I would not recommend this place for a dog to stay in.

O.K. for the price.
The Ad said free Breakfast, there was none. Next month that would start, according to the desk clerk. (due to renovation of lobby) The room looked like it was under renovation as well, or should have been. There were holes in the wall where pictures had been removed and the holes just left. There were stains on the walls and ceiling and the paint was peeling in spots. There were too many flies in the room for me to feel comfortable. The blankets were stored in a drawer and were too heavy for June. There was no spread for the bed cover at all except for a 24 inch wide decorative panel. There was a coffee maker, single cup at a time. There was only enough coffee for two cups. Not nearly enough creamer for my taste. There was no clock in the room and no TV guide to be found in the room or on the TV itself. The room was not clean. The floor needed to be vacuumed, the mirrors were smeared, the linens were well worn and the sheets appeared to be stained. The price was low and it was close to the water. We won't be returning .
