Pretty good
It was pretty good, specially next our building has little lagoon with hot tub was perfact for lovely couple time at night.

For the price that I paid it was VERY below average. NO SERVICE ROOM AT ALL ROOM CARPET VERY OLD BATHROOM SMELL BAD WHEN I CHECKED IN ELEVATOR VERY DIRTY NOT CLEANED I PAID EXTRA $60 FOR POOL VIEWS WHICH EXPEDIA DID NOT ADVISE ON THEIR WEBSITE ASKED FOR SOFTER PILLOWS NEVER DELIVERED I WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY ON THIS MANTRA TO NO ONE VERY DISAPPOINTED

Great property within the Salt complex in Kingscliff. We had a 2 bedroom dual key room which was great with 4 adults. The rooms were clean , living are a bit small however it had a balcony with extra chairs and tables. There was secure parking as well as plenty of off street parking, great pool, walking distance to beach,restaurants and shops. Staff were fantastic . We utilised the nearby bike and walking paths into Kingscliff town centre, tennis courts and pool. Would recommend

Slightly disappointed
The suite we had was clean but very dated and in need of a refurb. We were very surprised to learn that you had to pay for WiFi and that we had to go across the Rd to another location for breakfast. The outdoor areas pool etc were very nice with lots of sun loungers.

Don't bother!
We have stayed at Peppers and Salt many times before but this time we really noticed how old and unclean Mantra on Salt has become. The price was exorbitant at $350pn, the assistant manager on check in was rude and abrupt, the room was old, very dirty and very dated. Our sheets were stained and the bed cover was so old and revolting that I did not want to even touch it! The pool and surrounds are also now very dated and don't have the facilities that other resorts in Kingscliff offer for similar or better prices. We won't stay here again.

The pool and location are fantastic but for the nightly price the rooms are very tired and in need of an upgrade, our room was also quite dirty and looked as though the floors had not been cleaned at all. We had a spa room and the spa bath did not work and wifi was not included

The place is starting to look tired, gardens not quite maintained. Room door didn't quite work smoothly, broken screen and sofa bed mattress not clean... small stuff really, but it is a decline from what it used to be...

We had a great stay. The room was amazing. Very spacious and comfortable with everything you could ask for. The pool and gym facilities are superb.

Location is good. Nice to note that the buildings didnt dominate the landscape once i was on the beach. The layout/footprint aided easy access to rooms, i.e. not everyone used the same ekevator.

Disappointing stay
A few issues - firstly we had requested the bed sheets to be changed due to a bout of gastro and vomit in the bed. This took 4-5 phone calls and a trip to reception to get it sorted - over an hour in total and we couldn’t go to bed in the meantime. Hotel corridor walls have multiple holes - need patching up. Just not a good look when every wall has holes in it. Apartment generally needed a better clean - hair and dust throughout the room.

All very average.. Breakfast buffet - hot food overcooked and cold. Cold buffet exposed to elements including flies. For what we paid average is the standard delivered… Staff wore frowns and generally disinterested.., Had waited a long time to come and left underwhelmed. Scenery and ocean spectacular.

The surrounds were fantastic, good range of places to eat and a beautiful coastline but that's where it stops The book in was with a arrogant young man that didn't want to be there ,you offered us a room with no facilities and the room had two separate lots of human hair I hope left in the shower which I took photo's of . Just disgusting and so was the book out
