The staff is very nice. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, there is a lot of moisture in the room and you can see that they are having problems with mold, the screen door had a window missing

This motel was amazing! It had everything i needed and the staff was just amazing, for a motel everything was super clean and accessible! For the awesome cheap price per night screw a hampton inn! Embassy was the best!!

We’re happy with suite
Stay was comfortable, was not what we expected for a motel. Very clean no smell and Quiet. One suggestion add grab bars to the bathtub for climbing in and and in the trub.

No frills heaven.
This is an outdated motel, but the room was clean, the heat worked and so did the tv. If you are looking for a no frills evening out, you have hit the jackpot.

Nothing fancy but better review rating than most of the other motels in the area. My particular room was missing the smoke alarm (this is a no no) and half the buttons on the TV remote didn't work so couldn't really switch channels. Other than that the room wasn't very big but served it's purpose and was clean. Sheets were clean too.

Clean units and good toilet paper for a change! Good location. Close to restaurants and movies. The only down side is noisy neighbours.

Was just what we needed, a place to lay our heads for the night. Found it clean, room itself a little dated, but bathroom was very nice. Had everything we needed except a hairdryer which i forgot to bring thinking that they would have had one. But overall great price for a one night stay ☺

The owners were very pleasant, nice people. The room was clean, updated and comfortable and I enjoyed my stay there. It would be a place for me to return to when I need a room in the Kitchener area again.

All and all a place to sleep and not worry. I think the lady next door had a better time :) I would recommend it for a sleep. Comfortable beds clean enough for a stay over. I would stay again.

First time and would return
It was exactly as described and expected. It was relatively clean, it was a place to sleep, watch some tv and had a fridge and microwave. Tons of places to visit and eat across the street and off the main street so it was easy to get in and out of. Check in was extremely simple as was check out.

The rooms are really fixed up nice. Bathrooms all up-to-date tile with shiny clean grout. Showers blow your hair back. Good cold fridge with a freezer...A/C was wall unit...a little loud, so i had to turn it off to sleep. No problem! i'm coming back frequently, whenever I have to stay around Kitchener/Waterloo

Decent and cheap.
Just a simple motel, so nothing extraordinary. Just good old standard for a night's sleep. And bonus...right across the street from a movie theatre.

Still a great place, but !
Overall, a very well kept property, and room, however, I have noticed since my last stay at this establishment, that there appears to be a number of "full time" guests. A couple of late night issues due to this, fighting, yelling, and a lot of foot traffic between rooms. I was not put out by this, but , felt that this is now a residence more than a motel.

a place to lay our heads
We just needed a place to sleep. We arrived after 8 PM and left before 7 AM. We slept soundly without disturbances in a comfortable room with a comfortable bed. Everything was clean. The towels weren't luxuriously thick but the shower was hot.

This motel is conveniently located. The rooms are clean, while the bed linens and carpet are dated, they are clean and pillows are new. The bathroom was recently renovated and looks spectacular. Rooms have a microwave and a small fridge! No coffee makers, but Tim Horton's is right up the street. No complaints for the price. It's a comfortable, reasonably priced motel that is dog friendly :)

Decent value for overnight stay. Room has good amenities - fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, upgraded bath. Small, clean room and not particular quiet. Friendly owners. Convenient to highways.

Would book again.
Good Stuff: Check in was easy. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was good but on the firm side. Okay Stuff: Pillows, Price was right. Not Good: The location is close to a main road, so some noise, but that isn't the fault of the motel. The room was cold and breezy (during an ice storm). The heat was on, but the rooms have window/wall AC units and in mine there was definitely some cold air getting in. Could be fixed with better sealing. Nothing major. Summary: I've stayed in places I wouldn't stay again, this isn't one of them. For the price, it was a good stay and I'd book again if I needed to stay near the area.

Best Affordable Motel
Very good and clean rooms, bathroom was was well kept, very good and friendly office staff. Nice and cheap rooms.Highly recommended if taking a break from driving.Also proximity to bus stop makes it excellent stop for a day.

Cold and smelly room!
Baseboard heating was off when it was freezing outside, I had to wait an hour or two before I could take off my jacket! Also some sort of wired smell (not sure whether it was a mold, dirty carpet or an old wood smell) Anyways decided to leave after few hours to find another motel.
