Very comfortable and well kept. Great dining, pool Jacuzzi and the beach is so close. I felt safe and a lot within 20 walk. The staff were great. Plan tours early. Horseback riding on the beach is recommended

We really enjoyed our balcony and the awesome views of the ocean. We were greeted by a family of monkeys on most mornings. The daily breakfast was good and the staff was really responsive.

Loved it!
Beautiful tropical hotel. Large room, kitchen, big covered patio with table and lounge chairs. Ocean front. Secured parking, I would recommend and I would return here.

Love this place
We have stayed here in the past and have returned for a part of a 3 week adventure in Costa Rica. We have seen more wildlife on this and surrounding property than we have on guided tours.

Es un destino fijo siempre que voy a puerto viejo, el lugar es muy bonito, de las veces que no hemos quedado la unica queja es esta ultima vez que nos aparecieron varias cucarachas en la habitacion, destacar el detalle del desayuno a la habitacion.

The area our front is excellent for snorkeling at high tide. Lovely property right on the beach.

I loved to wake up and see the beach from my bed. I have the sea in the front window and the jungle 50 mts back. The verdant context contrasts with the blue sky. People is very nice and you can go to Puerto Viejo in only five minutes in moto-taxi (red motorcycle one diver and two passengers)

Nos encanta quedarnos en este hotel, el acceso a la playa es muy conveniente y los restaurantes que están en la propiedad excelentes. Lo único que empaño nuestra última visita fue la presencia de cucarachas, algo que sabemos es difícil de controlar en el trópico, pero a lo que definitivamente deben prestar más atención. Estaremos muy atentos en nuestra próxima visita, que ya tenemos reservada, esperamos que sea un problema superado porque queremos mantenerlos como nuestro destino.

Lugar cómodo, tranquilo y cercano a las playas. El personal muy amable, El desayuno llegó a la hora indicada y caliente. Puntos a mejorar, la habitación en la que estuvimos fue cómodo, no hay queja, pero si le hace falta un poco más de mantenimiento, se nota el paso del tiempo. En cuanto al desayuno, reitero, fue bueno, pero en cantidad si le hace falta, pues era muy poco. Buen lugar si tuviese la oportunidad de regresar lo haría.

A great place to get away. Comfortable, right on the beach, great pool and two restaurants onsite, others walkable just down the road. We could not ask for much more! Authenticate, quiet, comfortable and one of the best in the area.

Staff went over and beyond to help us after there was an Expedia mix up. The staff took time to clear things up so we could begin enjoying our vacation m. The restaurants on the property were exceptional. Beautiful tropical resort with monkeys and a sloth. Comfortable room.

There are many options to stay along the coast, but I found this place an excellent value. You can pay less elsewhere, but here you get air-conditioning in the bedrooms and breakfast included, delivered to your door and the pool. You can pay more elsewhere but why? This place is beautiful.

We loved our stay here! Nice room with a beachy vibe. The grounds are incredible! I woke up early every morning and went out to watch the great green macaws fly in and out of the trees to eat and walk along the sandy path in front of the hotel. The beach is steps away from the hotel, and I loved swinging on the many swings they have watching the sunrise and wildlife. There’s a great restaurant next door, The Spicy Coconut, which was super convenient since we didn’t have a car. Loved it here and would most definitely stay again!

Beachfront was very nice and picturesque. We saw so many animals just in front of our room. We were lucky to get room 26 as the rest of the rooms overlooked a dilapidated roof. Bathrooms were tiny and shower pressure was really low. Lots of traffic noise as rooms are literally beside the main highway. Breakfast was amazing and service was great. Quality and size of beach towels could be improved. Overall, excellent for your money.

Nice room with A/C. Excellent location in more secluded area. Directly on the beach and all rooms have ocean view. Lovely tropical garden and grounds. Monkeys and sloths sighted daily. Good restaurants adjacent. Beach by the hotel is rocky do best for wading. Not a surfing or swimming beach.

Nous avons passé plus d’une semaine et nous y retournerions sans hésiter. C’est un endroit très calme et parfait. Nous avions une villa familiale et elles sont toutes à quelques pas de la mer. Nous déjeunions sur la terrasse face à la mer et du jardin splendide où nous avons pu voir pleins d’espèces comme une grenouille verte fluo, un paresseux, des singes hurleurs et des oiseaux de toutes sortes. La nuit, nous entendions le bruit des vagues et c’était très relaxant. Nous avons étés agréablement surpris d’y retrouver salle d’eau dans la chambre principale au deuxième étage ( nous l’avions pas remarqué sur la description). Le personnel était très gentil et aidant. Il y a un petit marché pour articles de bases sur la route juste en avant de l’hôtel. Les plages sont accessibles à pieds.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer dunkel. Wir haben zunächst ein Zimmer bekommen, in dem - bis auf die Terrasse hinaus - ein lautes Brummen zu hören war. Konnten glücklicherweise direkt wechseln. Die Terrasse war groß, aber lieblos ausgestattet mit einem feststehenden Steintisch mit unbequemen Bänken und zwei halb kaputten Plastikliegen. WLAN funktionierte teils gar nicht, teils langsam. Das Frühstück wird aufs Zimmer gebracht und ist leider nicht besonders gut (3 Optionen verfügbar, 2 haben wir probiert). Schön ist, dass man mit Meeresrauschen einschläft, auch wenn sich das Meer direkt am Hotel aufgrund der Strömung eher bedingt zum Baden eignet. Die Anlage hat einen gepflegten Garten, in dem wir Agutis gesehen haben. Spät abends hangelte sich außerdem ein Faultier mit Baby an der Überdachung vor den Zimmereingängen entlang. Cahuita NP und Punta Uva sind nur eine kurze Fahrt entfernt und sehr empfehlenswert. In die Gegen würden wir in jedem Fall wiederkommen, aber dann in ein anderes Hotel.

The gardens are beautiful. We were able to see sloths and howler monkeys without ever leaving the grounds. The restaurant on-site is great too. We were able to walk to the scooter/bike rental so we’d have transportation into town. Too far to walk for us-maybe 3 miles each way? We’d stay again for sure.
