The hotel is very homy . Front desk ladies are very pleasant and helpful . Hotel is located close to everything and it’s walking distance . Crete sea is right next to it . Feeling of safety is in the air . Loved our stay .

This property was suggested by ebooker's rep. after failing to original book online. This studio apartment was superb with all necessary newly equipped furniture and fantastic sea/beach view from the bedroom. Also in quiet location in front with open square. Restaurant , Bar, & reception staffs very helpful. Option to have towels & bedsheets change frequently. I would definitely go again here

Our rooms were nice but the staff was not very friendly. There was easy walking to groceries and food. Nice outside patio space to sit outside our rooms. The staff just wasn't welcoming and made us feel a bit uncomfortable.

Top notch Aristea apartments
Wij logeerden in de recent gebouwde appartementen van het hotel. Ruime, mooi ingerichte suites met zicht op zee. Zeer vriendelijk, efficiënt personeel ( zowel de dames aan de check-in balie als het keukenpersoneel en de poetshulp evenals de man aan de bar). Rustige buurt met diverse zeer goede restaurants in de nabije omgeving. Gratis gebruik van strandstoelen aan zee. Winkels en openbaar vervoer in de wijk. Leuke ervaring!

Très bon accueil
Les personnes a l'accueil sont tres accueillantes et nous on donné plein de conseils pour les choses à voir dans les environs. La piscine est très bien et tout est très propre. La cuisine est vraiment d'appoint, juste assez de vaisselle pour 3 et les plaques sont tres longues a chauffer. La literie est sans doute tres récente mais très ferme. La salle de bain est très moderne (grande douche). Le prix du petit dejeuner est un peu élevé (10 euros) Un très bon sejour tout de même et la plage est à 3 min a pied.

In deed there was a sudden storm, that caused the flood of 2 rooms and unfortunately one of these rooms was yours. We sincerely apologize for having to face something like that, but the storm was sudden and the rain was quite intense, that's why all this flood happened. Nevertheless, our staff intervened immediately, so they could drain the water, protect your personal belongings and restore your room into the initial condition. Happy with our choice
It was a very clean, small hotel at the end of the long sandy beach area. It was quite far from the old city to walk there every day, but there are a good couple of nice restaurants nearby. The room was spacious with basic equipment in the kitchenette. Generally, we were happy with our choice but must mention a couple of things in the hope it will improve the hotel further. - Breakfast was very basic and repetitive. During our 10 day stay, we found every day the same food, which we got bored with after a few days. It would have been nice to see variety in pastries, ham, eggs or even fruits. - Showergel and shampoo...every time we had to ask for it. - The open shower was very narrow what made the whole bathroom flooding after use. On the positive side: - The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect. Steps away from the beach and a number of boardwalk taverns that we enjoyed more than the busy restaurants in the main part of town. We used the car to get to the center of town with easy, inexpensive parking at the port. The hotel is lovely and our superior apartment perfect for three of us. Very spacious. We very much enjoyed the quiet and respectful guests. We did not take the buffet breakfast but it looked lovely. I highly recommend this property.

Great Service!
Despite we arrived to the hotel quite late in the evening, the reception desk left everything perfectly prepared for our arrival. The morning after, they advised us on the beaches to go due to the strong wind. Excellent!

Nice hotel by the beach
Rooms were great, very spacious and well equipped with good aircon. WiFi worked well, and staff very friendly. Location was good, right by the beach with good restaurants close by.

HÔTEL BORD DE PLAGE AU CALME MAIS PAS LOIN DE TOUT
Très très très bon accueil et très bons conseils de visite donnés par la réceptionniste Hôtel dans quartier calme : vieille ville et port de Rethymnon à 3.5 km (30 à 40 minutes à pied) et 5 minutes en voiture Hôtel très propre (hôtel, chambres, piscine) et ménage fait tous les jours Joli jardin dans cour intérieur très bien entretenu Un voire 2 balcons par chambre bien appréciables Petite cuisine dans les appartements (spacieux) toute équipée (frigo, micro ondes, cafetière, bouilloire, plaque cuisson, four) donc bien pratique (nous n'avons ainsi pas pris le PDJ de l'hôtel surtout avec des enfants qui ont des goûts particuliers pour le PDJ... ou quand on déjeune peu le matin) A 30 mètres de la longue plage de Rethymnon qui fait entre 2 et 3 km A 5 minutes en voiture de l'axe routier pour aller vers côte ouest ou est de l'île donc bien pratique Plusieurs supérettes à proximité et un Lidl à 5 minutes en voiture avec beaucoup de choix et certains produits que l'on trouve en France (donc pratique si l'on veut des articles qu'on a l'habitude d'acheter en France :) Plusieurs tavernes à moins de 5 minutes dont To Pareaki et Akropolis Family avec très bon rapport qualité prix... et musique crétoise (chants guitare) pour l'Akropolis animée par le père et le fils le soir Autres restaurants tout le long de la plage à proximité avec magasins de souvenirs et supérettes A 2 minutes de l'hôtel, dans rue avoisinante, un magasin qui vend des excursions (Elafonissi, Preveli, Gramvoussa etc.)

Friendly, quiet, clean & clean smelling, spacious, close to ocean and lots of restaurants. Could walk or take local buses to old town historical area. Beach is rocky enough that water shoes are a real asset but water is very clear, warm & waves are gentle most days. The one down side is that smoking is allowed in all common areas, but that is the situation throughout Greece. Consistent, beautiful weather in Sept.

Das Hotel ist ca. 3km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Zu Fuss dauert das etwas lange. Wir fuhren mit dem Auto ins Zentrum, dort gibt es einen grossen Parkplatz am Hafen.

My overall experience of the Aristea Hotel was excellent from the friendliness and helpful staff, especially Vicky on reception. The hotel was very clean, well laid out and a very pleasing and relaxing environment.

Excellent location for Rethymno. Good size rooms / apartments. Not as clean as others (kitchen smelt damp inside cupboards). Power cut one evening (not their fault) but there wasn’t anyone there to reassure guests / help / let them know what was going on. Decor a little dated (but reasonable for price). Building site in front of hotel (also not their fault and looks like it will improve the hotel once finished, but would have been nice to be forewarned). Noisy water pump on roof meaning we were awake for a lot of the first night. We were put on second floor with a three year old and there is no lift. Not enough parking for guests staying. Not particularly secure (no front door that was locked at night, anyone could come up the stairs to the door of your apartment)

Das Hotel bietet ein wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet, die gesamte Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet und der Pool lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Allerdings sollte die Zimmerwahl genau überlegt werden, die lower Appartment sind aufgrund der Lage etwas feucht und die darin enthaltenen Möbel haben darunter bereits gelitten. Die Matratzen sind sehr hart, wer es gewohnt ist, kommt gut damit zurecht. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.

localisation satisfaisante. la piscine est propre. l'hôtel est bien entretenu même si le service aux chambres n'est pas toujours quotidien (non avisé au préalable. le déjeuner est très satisfaisant. Le personnel est accueillant et dévoué. Toutefois, pour le stationnement avec un véhicule loué, il y a clairement un problème… la rue est petite et il n'existe aucun espace clairement défini pour l'hôtel. Ceci est un problème majeur...

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel war in sehr gutem Zustand und die Zimmer sind verspielt um den Innenhof ausgerichtet. Der Pool war sehr sauber und angenehm zum schwimmen. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist ein öffentlicher Strand, in dem auch günstig Liegen ausgeliehen werden konnten. Der Parkplatz ist oft gut gefüllt, aber das Hotelpersonal hat gerne geholfen einen Parkplatz zu organisieren. Haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

Ενω το δωματιο ηταν ευρυχωρο και καθαρο ειχε μια εντονη δυσοσμια που δεν καταλαβα αν ερχοταν απο το μπανιο η τον εξωτερικο χωρο.θα ηταν χρησιμο να υπηρχαν σιτες στα παραθυρα. Δεν υπηρχε παρκιγκ παρα μονο για δεκα αυτοκινητα κι αυτα πανω στον δρομο. Ωραιο πρωινο και εξυπηρετικο προσωπικο!
